🔧 Another repower underway.

This Southern Pacific inflatable is getting a brand new Yamaha F60, replacing the existing F50.

The traded F50 is now in our workshop getting a full service and inspection before it becomes available for its next owner.

Stay tuned to see the finished repower once it’s complete. 🚤

Brett’s immaculate Haines SF600 is back in the workshop for its annual service and Wof

We repowered this boat in 2024, and it’s been back with us every year since. That’s exactly what we aim for - not just supplying a new outboard, but looking after it for years to come.

Remember this Yamaha F225 repower?

Now it's back for its first scheduled service. Looking after our customers doesn't stop when the engine leaves the workshop.

The best advertising is a happy customer.

This boat is in this week after being referred by a long-time customer. We repowered his boat a couple of years ago, and he’s now sent his mate our way for servicing.

That kind of trust means a lot to us.

Whether it’s servicing, repairs, or a full repower, we focus on doing the job right and taking proper care of your boat.

Thanks to everyone who recommends South Auckland Marine - we really appreciate your support.

We originally supplied and fitted this Mercury outboard two years ago, and it’s great to have it back in the workshop for another routine service.

There’s something satisfying about seeing an engine you’ve installed return years later, still performing exactly as it should.

Regular servicing with genuine Mercury parts and factory diagnostics helps keep it that way.

A big thank you to our customer for trusting South Auckland Marine from installation through to ongoing servicing.

Some feedback means more than words. This Mercury 250 V8 has travelled all the way from Tauranga for its scheduled same day service.

With plenty of marine workshops closer to home, we're grateful this customer continues to trust our team with their engine.

Whether you're local or travelling a little further, our goal is always the same quality workmanship, genuine parts and getting you back on the water as quickly as possible.

Thanks for making the trip. We really appreciate your continued support.

This local customer’s Rayglass 2500 came into the workshop with an oil leak that needed investigating.

After a thorough inspection, we identified a number of issues within the sterndrive, with the required parts now on order.

While the boat is with us, we’re also carrying out a full service on the MerCruiser TDI diesel, so it’ll be ready to get back on the water once the repairs are complete.

We believe in fixing the problem properly the first time - not just treating the symptoms.

Sometimes it’s not just about bolting on parts - it’s about setting the whole package up properly.

This Mercury came to us needing a bit more than a standard service.

We found:
▪ Engine mounted too low on the transom
▪ Propeller not matched to the hull and application
▪ Full service overdue
▪ Worn throttle and shift cables requiring replacement

We raised the engine, fitted a prop better suited to the boat, completed a full genuine service, and replaced the control cables to get everything performing the way it should.

Every boat is different, and getting the engine height, propeller selection and setup right can make a huge difference to performance, fuel economy and overall drivability.

If your boat doesn’t feel like it’s performing as it should, it may not need more horsepower - it might just need the right setup.
