Can you believe it's been over 25 years since Husqvarna changed lawn care forever? 🌿 Back in 1995, Husqvarna launched the world's very first robotic lawn mower — the Solar Mower — and nothing has been the same since. It was a bold, brave idea that most people couldn't quite picture yet. A robot… mowing your lawn? Really?

But it worked. And it grew.

Over the decades, Husqvarna's Automower range has gone from a simple solar-powered pioneer to a smart, connected, GPS-guided machine that handles complex lawns with incredible precision. Early models were basic by today's standards — but they planted a seed (pun intended 🌱). Each generation brought better battery life, quieter operation, smarter navigation, and eventually, full app connectivity so you can control your mower right from your phone.

Today's Automowers can handle slopes, rain, tight corners, and even send you alerts if something goes wrong. They're not just convenient — they're genuinely impressive pieces of technology that save you time and keep your lawn looking its best, week after week.

At Hoopers Outdoor Power Centre, we've been proud Husqvarna dealers for over 30 years, so we've had a front-row seat to this incredible journey. We love helping people find the right Automower for their home or property — and trust us, once you go robotic, it's hard to go back!

We'd love to hear from you — have you ever used a robotic lawn mower, or are you still on the fence about making the switch? 👇

We all know that neighbour — mower roaring at 7am on a Sunday while everyone else is still asleep. 😄

The good news? There's a way to get the lawn done early without disturbing the whole street. The Husqvarna battery mower range runs quietly, so you can mow on your schedule without the noise guilt.

Pop into Hoopers Outdoor Power Centre and we'll help you find the right model for your yard. Your neighbours will thank you. 🌿

What time do you think is acceptable to start mowing on a weekend?

Imagine a lawn mower that works while you relax. That's exactly what Husqvarna set out to create back in 1995 — and they've never stopped improving. 🤖🌱

The very first Husqvarna Automower was a simple concept: let technology do the mowing so you don't have to. But getting there wasn't easy. Early models required careful setup, had limited range, and were a novelty that many people weren't sure about. Yet the vision was clear, and Husqvarna committed to it wholeheartedly.

Over the decades, each new generation of Automowers brought meaningful improvements. Better battery life. Smarter sensors. Quieter operation. Rain detection. And now, with models like the EPOS™ range, some Automowers don't even need a boundary wire at all — they navigate using satellite positioning with impressive precision.

We understand that choosing the right robotic mower can feel a little overwhelming, especially with so many options available today. That's exactly why the team at Hoopers Outdoor Power Centre is here — to listen, understand your lawn, and help you find the perfect fit without the guesswork.

It's not just about selling equipment. It's about making your life genuinely easier.
