New T2 starting to go into a few different makes of superstock chassis now which is good.We are proud to supply a complete NZ made Superstock transmission.

Club night at home last night with a smaller field of cars. Had a good night, 1-1st, 14-1st & 13-2nd.

We’ve had another big week on the car.
The motor has been in and out having some testing done at Hughes Race Built. After a carb change it feels a lot stronger

We also changed from a raptor gearbox to an Engine Dynamics T2 dog box. We are super impressed with the super fast positive gear changes these things have. We also change to a new trial steering box which seems to have also improved a steering issue we have been battling this season. Changed a few other set up ideas too and the car felt the best it has all season so really confident all the changes we made over the last week have been worth it.

Next weekend we are off to Woodford glen for the battle of the stocks, Christchurch will be a good test for all the changes we have made, always a ripper of an event!

T2 Racing Transmission – Now Available
We’ve been a bit quiet on the T2 transmission, and for good reason. Last season we identified heat-treatment issues with the shift forks that affected shift quality. Rather than push something we weren’t 100% happy with, we went back to the drawing board.
Over the off season we completed a full redesign, and we’re pleased to say the results have exceeded expectations. Shifting is significantly smoother, reliability has been outstanding, and the transmission has already taken some serious hits in testing with no issues.
What’s new:
• Fully redesigned shift fork system
• Much smoother and more consistent shifting
• All parts NZ-made
• Gears now cut in-house
• Only outsourced processes are material supply and heat treatment
• Complete control over manufacturing and quality
• Lower rebuild costs compared to previous versions
We now have T2 transmissions in stock and ready to go.
Warranty Offer:
The first 20 transmissions sold include a 1-season warranty on part failure, provided the unit is serviced by us. (Drive dog wear excluded.)
Price:
$6,500 + GST
If you’d like to see a T2 up close, there will be a brand-new unit out of the car and travelling to the next few meetings with 23M Flynn Ashton, and all four Ashton cars are now running the new T2 transmission.

This is the 1st carb body we did way back at the beginning won its 1st race with Kyle Larson at the wheel cool memory to have. Hank does a great & very consistent job of fitting and finishing these carbs!!!

This is our First WEC billet main body that we made. Thanks to Kyle Larson and Kevin Rumley for signing the float bowls. Kyle won his races with this carb

Well another year is done been a challenge in lots of ways but we fordged our way through as a lot of others have also. Thanks to all our loyal customers and friends for their support & business.
