BRIDGING THEORY & PRACTICE: Survey Camp 2083 Successfully Concluded!
The Survey Camp 2083 was conducted from Jestha 11 to Jestha 21, 2083, at MARS Nepal, Bungmati, Lalitpur. The camp was organized with the objective of providing students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in modern surveying techniques and field practices. A total of 90 participants attended the camp, comprising 80 students, 7 supervisors, and 3 support staff members.
The objectives of the camp were to familiarize students with various surveying methods, principles, and field techniques; provide practical training in the operation and application of surveying instruments, including the Auto Level, Total Station, UAV (Drone), and DGPS; develop studentsβ problem-solving and decision-making skills in real field conditions; enhance teamwork, cooperation, leadership, and professional work ethics among students; and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in surveying and geomatics engineering.
