Four Type Of Steel Roof
1.Gable Roof:
Shape: A traditional "A" shape with two sloping sides meeting at a peak.
Steel Framing: Often supported by a ridge beam and two sloped trusses.
Advantages: Simple design, easy to construct, and excellent for shedding water and snow. It provides more space for attic ventilation.
Best for: Residential buildings, barns, and simple structures.
2.Hip Roof:
Shape: All four sides of the roof slope downward to meet at a single point, forming a pyramid-like shape.
Steel Framing: Uses steel trusses or rafters that slope evenly from all sides.
Advantages: More stable in high winds compared to gable roofs, with no vertical gable ends.
Best for: Residential homes, particularly in areas prone to heavy winds.
3.Shed Roof:
Shape: A single, slanted roof surface with no ridges, typically pitched in one direction.
Steel Framing: Simple framework of beams that slopes in one direction.
Advantages: Simple construction, modern appearance, and efficient for rainwater drainage. It can be used for extensions or smaller buildings.
Best for: Modern homes, studios, or garden sheds.
4.Mansard Roof:
Shape: A double-pitched roof with a steep lower section and a more gradual upper section.
Steel Framing: A combination of steep and less steep slopes, supported by complex steel trusses.
Advantages: Maximizes attic space for additional living space or storage. Offers a unique, elegant design.
Best for: Historic-style buildings, urban homes, or structures requiring extra attic space.
