Important Update for Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trekkers 🏔️
Due to the ongoing monsoon season, some sections of the trekking route from Birethanti towards the Annapurna Base Camp area have been temporarily affected and disrupted by heavy rainfall.
The local government is currently working to restore and improve the affected sections, including installing protective wire mesh and carrying out necessary road maintenance. According to the local authorities, the route is expected to be fully restored within the next few days.
At present, trekkers can walk from New Bridge to Jhinu Danda, which takes approximately 3–4 hours. The trekking route remains accessible on foot, although some sections may be disturbed due to the monsoon.
In recent years, road access has been extended closer to Jhinu Danda, so many trekkers choose to travel by vehicle up to the accessible point and continue their trek from there. Due to the current road conditions, vehicle access has been temporarily affected in some sections.
However, the improvement work is already underway, and the route is expected to be fully ready and much more accessible for the upcoming trekking season.
🏔️ Annapurna is open for adventure — with a little patience during the monsoon!
Please check the latest local conditions before starting your trek and travel responsibly.
