Ghatasthapana marks the beginning of Dashain, one of the most important Hindu festivals in Nepal. It is the day when the sacred 'Kalash' is installed, symbolizing Goddess Durga's presence, and the seeds for Jamara are sown.

On this day, a Kalash filled with water is placed in a sacred room where family members worship everyday. Over the next nine days, the Jamara grows, symbolizing prosperity and blessings, and is later used in the Dashain Tika ceremony.

May this auspicious occasion bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all. 🙌🌱
