Introducing our next-generation multipurpose deepwater installation and construction vessel 🚢
We are proud to present our newbuild as recently announced in a Stock Exchange Notice. The newbuild is designed to meet the evolving demands of subsea operations including deepwater mooring installations.
The vessel is developed in close collaboration between SBM Offshore, Solstad Offshore and Salt Ship Design, combining extensive maritime operational experience with a forward-looking approach to efficiency, flexibility and performance - including low emissions and carbon neutral pathway.
The design builds on key learnings from Normand Installer, that Solstad and SBM Offshore have jointly operated since 2006, refined for future deepwater projects.
With a strong focus on installation capabilities and operational versatility, the vessel is equipped to handle complex subsea and construction scopes in demanding environments and water depths down to 4000 meters.

- Length: 132.6 m | Beam: 32 m
- Accommodation: 100 persons
- Deadweight: approx. 11,200 t
- Installed power: 26,900 kW
- Bollard pull: minimum 300 t
Advanced installation features:
- 400[HV2] t main crane and 350 t A-frame
- Over 2,000 t under-deck carousel
- 500 t winch system
- 2 x work class ROVs in hangars
