Looking back at three great days at IceFish 2026 🇮🇸

IceFish - Icelandic Fisheries & Aquaculture Exhibition and Conference brought valuable conversations, new connections and the opportunity to meet customers and partners from across the seafood industry.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by stand C42 to share their projects, challenges and ideas with us – and to Slippurinn Akureyri ehf., Slippurinn DNG and Brunvoll AS for three great days together.

We’ve returned from Iceland with new opportunities and plenty of conversations to continue.

I dag møter vi fremtidens fagfolk!

Optimar er på plass på karrieremessen i Sunnmørshallen, hvor Habtemariam og Jesper står på stand og deler litt om hvordan det er å jobbe med mekanikk og automasjon hos oss.

Vi er stolte av å være lærlingbedrift i samarbeid med OTEK, og hvert år tar vi inn lærlinger innen både mekaniske fag og automasjon. For oss er lærlinger en viktig del av laget – og av kompetansen vi bygger for fremtiden.

For Optimar ligger en stor del av verdien i den maritime klynga i nettverket vi har her på Sunnmøre – små og store bedrifter som deler kunnskap, samarbeider og utfordrer hverandre til å bli bedre.

Som vår Markedssjef, Jannicke Valderhaug, svarte:
«Klynga knytter oss sammen. Vi samarbeider, konkurrerer og utfordrer hverandre – og vinner internasjonalt.»

Det er nettopp denne kombinasjonen av samarbeid og sunn konkurranse som gjør det maritime miljøet på Sunnmøre sterkt – og som bidrar til at vi hevder oss internasjonalt. 🌍
