– Day 2 at Relay for Life in Arendal/Grimstad🌟

What a weekend we’ve had together!

Last night, a group of us returned to the stadium to take part in the moving and powerful candlelight ceremony – an important moment to remember those we’ve lost to cancer. 💜

This morning started out foggy, but it cleared just in time for the Superhero Relay. The kids absolutely loved it – some even sprinted straight past the mascots at full speed 🤭

Throughout the 24 hours, the atmosphere in the Origo tent was fantastic. Or, as our HIMA Sales Director Harald’s little interns so beautifully named it: “Grandpa’s tent for all his best friends.” 🫶

We had set ourselves a bold goal of 1,000 laps in 24 hours, divided among our 53 participants. As the clock approached noon, the team sprinted in the final laps, and we finished strong at 1,045 laps in total. 🏆

The weekend closed with an uplifting final ceremony, where all teams were recognized on stage with kind words and diplomas. A huge thank you to the amazing organizers and Kreftforeningen, who put in an incredible amount of work to create such a meaningful event. 💜

We are so grateful for the spirit and effort shown by our team – but above all, deeply grateful to be part of something so important. ONE team, ONE goal – ONE family(and smart safety)🙌

🌟 Relay for Life – Day 1 🌟

is on the track and going strong! 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️

By 5 PM we had already passed 500 laps – which is great considering we’re about half the number of participants we usually are, to be able to participate in two different relays (compared to when we set our all-time record of 2302 laps in one relay). What a team! 🙌

It’s been a fantastic day with perfect weather, great organization, and lots of enthusiastic colleagues, friends, and families joining in. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make it happen – you truly make a difference 💜

✨ Highlights from today:

• A beautiful opening ceremony emphasizing the importance of cancer awareness – and the need to ensure a place in working life for those having battled cancer.

• A dedicated program for the Fighters (those living with or beyond cancer), including a celebratory dinner – where our very own Harald Albretsen even won a gift 🏆.

• The little ones enjoyed a teddy bear hospital, a bouncy castle, arts & crafts, mask making, face painting – and a treasure hunt!

• A special visit from the fire department – one brave little Origoer (and adult!) even climbed on top of the fire truck(with permission of course) 🚒.

• Concerts, performances, and most importantly – an incredible team spirit. The internal competitiveness turned into a sport of its own. 😉

We’re so proud of our team for all the amazing effort put into this, which got the attention of the event organizers that commended them for being engaged, compassionate, and spreading “a wonderful energy across the stadium.” – Thank you!

What a day, what a community – and what an important cause.

🌟 It’s that time again – one of the most exciting and meaningful events of the year: Relay for Life! 🌟

is proud to once again support a cause that means so much to us. Earlier this year, we had a fantastic experience joining the relay in Kristiansand, and now we’re especially excited to take part in the very first relay in Arendal Grimstad.

Being part of this event is more than just running together – it’s about community, contribution and participating in a 24-hour relay to display that cancer doesn’t take a break. 💜

We look forward to seeing friends, colleagues, and fellow participants come together for this important cause. Let’s make this new relay unforgettable, everyone is welcome and we'd love to have you join us! 🙌

🌍 at HIMA Group's Global Marketing Workshop 🌍

Last week had some incredible days in Breda, participating in HIMA's Global Marketing Workshop! The focus on collaboration and communication truly stood out as we came together to exchange ideas and explore best practices for effective marketing. 💡

It was an absolute pleasure to meet the entire team face-to-face and engage in meaningful discussions around strategy, innovation, and solutions. 🚀

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and bring fresh insights back to Norway. Excited for what’s to come, one team one goal! 🙌

ONS 2024: A Perfect Blend of Productivity and Excitement! 🙌

ONS 2024 is almost at an end, but our time here has been nothing short of outstanding. From insightful discussions and enlightening presentations to making valuable connections, the event was a great success for . 💡

A special highlight was our own Rune Reinertsen’s presentation during the technical session for offshore wind, where he showcased our top-level SCADA solution, demonstrating its potential to transform operational efficiency and drive innovation in the renewable energy sector. ⚡

We also had the chance to join a cause that is close to our hearts by participating in the Global Relay for Life + ONS event. This mini-version of the relay lasted for an hour, where we laced up our running shoes, and joined forces with others to show support for those affected by cancer. It was a meaningful and memorable way to end a productive week.💜

A big thank you to ONS and everyone we had the pleasure of meeting, here's to many more moments like these! 💪

ONS 2024 is off to an incredible start with plenty of visitors, and we had the honor of welcoming the Agder delegation to our booth. It was a fantastic opportunity to give both politicians and industry leaders an insight into Origo and what we do best. A huge thank you to the delegation for their visit. 🚀

🌟 Exciting Milestone: Origo's First Board Meeting as a HIMA Group Company! 🌟

Last week we had Origo's first Board meeting under the HIMA banner! The meeting was a great success, marked by productive discussions and a comprehensive status of our post-merger integration project.

Our visitors from HIMA toured our Kristiansand location, where they had the opportunity to engage with our dedicated employees and witness firsthand our day-to-day operations.

The Board also had the opportunity to stop by Gravane in Kristiansand, to take a look at the sand sculptures where our logo is currently featured. We thank HIMA for an insightful and inspiring visit and look forward to more successful milestones as we continue this exciting journey together! 🚀

We are delighted to announce that effective from January 31st, Origo Solutions are now part of the HIMA group.

HIMA and Origo Solutions can look back on more than 20 years of cooperation based on partnership. This partnership has not just been about business; it has been a shared journey with a common Safety-DNA, values, ideas, committed teams, and procedures that have strengthened our bond over the years.

The acquisition will result in synergies for HIMA and Origo Solutions that will enable us to strengthen our competitiveness, further expand the solutions business and generate growth not only in Scandinavia, but also globally.

Our collective focus on innovation and cutting-edge solutions will drive us toward new heights in safety-related automation solutions on a global scale and to further boost the digitalization of Functional Safety.

We look forward to work together with 950 dedicated employees in HIMA Group all around the world, and to be the regional headquarters for Scandinavia.
