Avoid downtime after the summer holidays.

The upcoming holiday shutdown is the ideal time to:
✓ Replace worn rollers
✓ Renew sanding or structuring brushes
✓ Expand your spare parts stock
✓ Prepare your line for Q3/Q4 production

We supply rollers and brushes for virtually all machine brands and applications.

As delivery times may increase during the summer period, we recommend ordering in time.

Why is chipboard so difficult to finish evenly?

Rough, open edges of chipboard often cause problems: coating is immediately absorbed, making it difficult to achieve a consistent result.

The result? Extra processing steps and inconsistent quality.

With our TTEPS technology, we solve this by applying a controlled sealing layer:
- Highly precise application, only where needed
- No overspray, so no material waste
- A stable base for further finishing

By pre-sanding, applying a precise LED sealer, and curing it immediately, a smooth and sealed surface is created, even on highly absorbent chipboard edges.

The result: a high-quality end product made from a relatively low-cost base material.

“What’s the price of this machine?”

It’s often the first question we receive through our website.

Makes sense.
You want to compare options and move forward quickly.

But in practice, we see something else happen.

Sometimes it stops at that one question.
No conversation. No deeper insight.

And the decision is made based on price alone.

What happens next?
– The machine turns out not to fit the product
– The finish isn’t what was expected
– Consumption is higher than anticipated
– Or capacity doesn’t match production needs

In other words: what seemed cheaper at first often becomes more expensive.

That’s why we don’t start with a price, we start with a conversation.

To understand:
– What you want to achieve
– How your current process works
– Where improvements can be made

Then we make it tangible.

In our Experience Center in Sumar, we test together:
✔ Your product
✔ Your coating or lacquer
✔ On the right configuration

This is where insight meets reality.

In just a few hours, you gain clarity on what truly works for your process.
No assumptions. No surprises afterwards.

Well prepared, efficient, and focused on your situation.

It may start with a price question.
But the right decision is made when you both understand and test.

Will you keep comparing based on a PDF?
Or make sure it actually works in your production?

Controlling appearance with Shou Sugi Ban

Shou Sugi Ban is all about contrast: fire and wood, protection and aesthetics.
After burning, a charred layer forms that protects the wood. But that same layer also defines the final look. Do you leave it as is, or brush it back to reveal the structure?

In this project, the customer chose a brushed finish. By removing the softer parts of the wood, the harder grain remains visible. The result: a strong, distinctive texture while maintaining the protective benefits.

To create this effect, we developed a solution that brushes the workpiece on all sides in a single pass. Settings such as speed, pressure, and brush rotation can be adjusted easily, making it possible to process different shapes and radii with consistent results.

- Tynex brushes for optimal control
- Full processing in one pass
- Smart dust extraction and cleaning
- Fully tailored to the production line

The result? Full control over both process and appearance. Exactly what Shou Sugi Ban demands.

Most production lines look efficient.

Until you reach the finishing step.

That’s where things start to change.

Speed drops.
Variation increases.
Output becomes less predictable.

Manual coating works.
But it becomes harder to control as volume increases.

Different operators.
Different results.
More material applied… just to be sure.

And over time, that leads to:

→ Higher consumption
→ More rework
→ Less stable output

This isn’t a people issue.
It’s a process limitation.

At a certain point, manual application simply isn’t built for consistency at scale.

That’s when companies start looking at automation.

Not as a replacement.
But as a way to stabilize the process.

A vacuum coater is often considered the next step.

And in the right setup, it can make a big difference.

But that raises the real question:

Is automation the solution…
or just the next assumption?

26/04/2026

A vacuum coater is often seen as the best solution.

Fast.
Efficient.
Consistent.
And in the right setup, it absolutely is.

But in practice, we often see something else.

Companies invest in a vacuum coater…
and still struggle with output.
The issue usually isn’t the machine.
It’s how it fits into the process.
On paper, a vacuum coater can run up to 50 m/min.

In reality, most production lines operate between 15 and 25 m/min.

The limitation is rarely the machine itself.
It’s the surrounding process
like drying capacity, handling, and material flow.
We see it in situations like:

→ Three-sided coating where spraying is more practical
→ Small batch production with frequent changeovers
→ Setups where drying and transport aren’t aligned
Everything looks right on paper.

But in production, it becomes a bottleneck.

Because a vacuum coater is not a standalone solution.
It’s one step in a complete production flow.
And that flow determines your output.

The goal isn’t to choose the “best” machine.

It’s to choose the right solution
for your process, your product, and your production setup.
Curious where the bottlenecks are in your line? Let’s explore it together.

It rarely happens overnight.

A machine doesn’t suddenly stop working.
Quality doesn’t suddenly drop.
It’s more subtle than that.

A slightly rougher surface.
A bit more coating needed for the same result.
Operators adjusting settings… just to be sure.
Nothing dramatic.
So the process keeps running.
But over time, things shift:

→ Higher material consumption
→ More variation in quality
→ More rework than planned

Not because something is broken.
But because wear slowly changes the process.
And that’s the tricky part.

It doesn’t show up as a clear failure.
It shows up as small inefficiencies everywhere.
Until it starts affecting your margin.

We see this a lot with brushes and rollers.

Small components.
Big impact on consistency, consumption, and output.
So the real question is:

Are they still working…
or are they still working efficiently?
Curious where wear might be affecting your process?

Let’s take a look together.
