Successful salvage operation completed in Oban, Scotland.

We are pleased to share the successful completion of a salvage operation in Oban, Scotland, carried out using our crane ship
Lara 1.

The operation involved the recovery of the MV Headcorn, which had sunk at its mooring in the Sound of Kerrera. Following environmental and navigational concerns, the vessel was successfully refloated and removed from the area.

The salvage works were executed in early April after more than a month of submersion, requiring careful planning, precise lifting operations and close coordination with local authorities.
This operation was performed on behalf of Jifmar Group and North West Marine, and demonstrates the capability of our crane vessel Lara 1 to safely execute complex salvage and recovery works in confined and sensitive environments.
We would like to thank all parties involved for the smooth cooperation and professional ex*****on of this operation.

In the video you see the Lara 1 anchored in position prior to the lifting of the wreck.

Building on trust – strengthening our position for the future.

Following the successful ex*****on of our first joint project in Bangladesh, we are pleased to announce that Hapo International Barges and Aesen have signed a Collaboration Agreement for future projects.

This agreement is built on practical experience, mutual trust, and a shared ambition to strengthen our respective positions in the market:

Hapo International Barges will further expand its presence in Asia and the Middle East, providing specialised crane pontoons and marine heavy‑lift solutions.
Aesen will reinforce its position in the crane pontoon segment, supported by HAPO’s fleet, operational expertise and project track record.

The recently completed Jamuna River power line crossing project near Sirajganj, delivered for Cemindia Projects Limited (formerly ITD Cementation India Ltd.), marked the completion of our first cooperation — and at the same time laid the foundation for this long‑term collaboration.

We look forward to developing future projects together and delivering reliable marine crane solutions for complex infrastructure works worldwide.

A major milestone reached at the Jamuna River crossing – Sirajganj, Bangladesh

We are proud to share the completion of our scope on a power line river crossing project across the Jamuna River near Sirajganj, Bangladesh, delivered for Cemindia Projects Limited (formerly ITD Cementation India Ltd), acting as EPC contractor for this project.

Our involvement followed an introduction by Aesen, who connected HAPO and our crane pontoon H‑332 with the PLM15000 crane to the project.

While Cemindia Projects Limited executed and managed the overall EPC scope, HAPO personnel operated the crane pontoon throughout the piling works.

Project scope highlights:
Installation of 44 deep foundation piles, each approximately 92 meters in length.
Piling works executed on 11 temporary working islands in the Jamuna River.
Lifting of piles and piling by a 250 ton Menck hydraulic hamer using HAPO crane pontoon.
Operations carried out in a high‑current river environment.

With the driving of the final pile, Cemindia Projects Limited has reached an important milestone in this challenging infrastructure project.
We congratulate Cemindia Projects Limited on this achievement and thank Aesen for facilitating a cooperation that brought together strong EPC expertise and reliable marine assets.
Delivering specialised marine crane support for complex infrastructure projects remains at the core of what we do.

Our crane barge will soon be demobilising and ready for a next assignment.
