Cooling mode in the URBAN LINE, ARTIC LINE and URBAN V2 LINE air-to-water heat pumps!

Our URBAN LINE, ARTIC LINE and the new URBAN V2 LINE air-to-water heat pumps come equipped with a cooling mode. This feature allows you to use the heat pump to cool the supplied heating water in your central heating system, effectively cooling your living space.

For optimal performance, we recommend pairing these systems with convector radiators or underfloor heating. Additionally we advise maintaining a minimum water temperature of 18°C to prevent issues such as condensation.

Understanding GWP values in ALPS EXCLUSIVE AWHP-systems

We prioritize sustainability by using refrigerants with low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Our products, including the ARTIC and URBAN LINE, utilize R32, which has a GWP of 675. This refrigerant is more eco-friendly and efficient compared to traditional options like R410A, which we do not use due to its high GWP of 2088.

In our newly updated URBAN V2 LINE, we use R290 (propane), boasting an extremely low GWP of 3. This choice reflects our commitment to reducing environmental impact and enhancing energy efficiency.
