In principle you can say that Classic Evo Gauge® converts old and impure analogue technology into modern accurate digital control unit . And as you all know are there in the current market various after-market suppliers producing parts for our beloved classic cars. The major disadvantage that these manufacturers all make their own products, and do not take in account that combinations are possible. For example: none of the newly produced tank floats / fuel gauge sender units are working well with used original or new after-market tank gauges. There are also models: such as the Volkswagen T2B, for which the aftermarket has fuel gauge sender units, but no suitable gauge . For these Volkswagen T2B panorama vans are only 42 to 48 year old used units for sale and very, very rarely NOS one . so working original gauges have become very,very rare. Classic Evo Gauge® offers the solution for these vehicles. Classic Evo Gauge® provides a completely new tank gauge combined with complete matching but self-learning electronics. With which an empty as well as a full tank can be programmed very easy. The new Classic Evo Gauge® will be equipped with the original fuel gauge facing, which means that the original "facing" of your current fuel gauge must be transferred to the Classic Evo Gauge®

On top of a perfect working fuel gauge we opted some extras such as :
A reserve notification : this means that the integrated gauge lights will turn red the moment the vehicle enters the reserve area of the tank. This will alert the driver that he needs to refuel soon . For the purist who does not like this extra option but wants a flawless working fuel gauge . the option with the light indication can be disconnected after setting / programming the Classic Evo Gauge® by disconnecting a connector . The electronics of the Classic Evo Gauge® come in a separate unit. This control box can be placed within a radius of +/- 20 cm around the counter unit in which the new gauge sits. The new gauge is controlled by this control unit. This Electronic control unit will be connected with 3 cables to the original wiring. Classic Evo Gauge® has ensured that there is no need to modify or cut the original wiring. So the classic vehicles remain as original as possible. The Classic Evo Gauge® fuel indicator is super easy to program to any original and after-market tank float / fuel gauge sender units. With a switch and your ignition key, the position of the fuel gauge sender unit is easy to read / learn into the electronics. The programmed mode is shown on the screen , and confirmed with a Blue light glow indication. This learning should be done with an empty tank as well as with a full tank. With this, the gauge knows what the position “tank full” and “tank empty” is. These positions (“tank full” and “tank empty”) can be re-programmed at any time and therefore do not have to be programmed both at the same time. Although if is wise to set/program the “Tank empty” position during the initial installation. The “Tank Full” position could (for practical reasons) be done during or shortly after your next refuelling. Finally, with the Classic Evo Gauge® is it possible to choose between 2 brightness levels for the reserve lights by means of 2 switches. With these switches you can choose between 2 different light intensities for the dashboard lighting (when the pointer touches the reserve position of the meter) These positions are respectively 50 and 100% light intensity and can be set to the choice / taste of the customer

Heb jij er ook zo genoeg van elke keer weer zonder benzine te staan door een niet goed werkende benzinemeter. Zoek dan niet langer wij van Classic Evo Gauge® hebben de oplossing voor je. Wij maken brandstofmeters digitaal. Dit wil zeggen dat wij een moderne hedendaagse techniek / elektronica integreren in klassieke techniek. Classic Evo Gauge® zorgt er uiteraard voor dat deze nieuwerwetse techniek niet zichtbaar is in het interieur van de klassieke auto , terwijl je wel profiteert van de voordelen en luxes en accurate werking van de moderne techniek. In principe kan je dus zeggen dat Classic Evo Gauge® oude en onzuivere analoge techniek omzet naar een moderne digitale sturing. Verder hebben we in de huidige markt te maken met verschillende after-market leveranciers die onderdelen maken voor onze geliefde oldtimers. Dit heeft echter als grote nadeel dat deze fabrikanten allen zijn eigen producten maken , en daarbij geen rekening houden met combinatie mogelijkheden. Als voorbeeld : werkt géén van de nieuw geproduceerde tankvlotters goed samen met gebruikte originele of nieuwe after-market tank meters. Zo zijn er ook modellen : zoals de VolkswagenT2B waar wél een tankvlotter , maar helaas géén passende tankmeters in de markt te koop zijn. Voor deze ook wel panorama bussen genaamd zijn zelfs werkende gebruikte, 42 tot 48 jaar oude benzineklokjes heel erg zeldzaam geworden. Voor deze voertuigen bied Classic Evo Gauge® dé oplossing. Classic Evo Gauge® levert een volledig nieuwe tankmeter en de een complete bijpassende maar zelflerende elektronica. De nieuwe Classic Evo Gauge® benzinemeter moet worden voorzien van het originele tankmeter schermpje , dat wil zeggen dat de “facing” van de originele tankmeter moet worden overgezet op de Classic Evo Gauge® hiervoor hebben we bij Classic Evo Gauge® gekozen omdat dan na montage / integratie van de nieuwerwetse techniek de optiek van het ouderwets dashboard niet in het gedrang komt door voor het oog “nieuwe” delen . Wél hebben we gekozen voor extra’s , zoals bijvoorbeeld een melding doormiddel van gekleurde dashboardverlichting die naar die rood wordt op het moment dat het voertuig in het reserve gebied komt van de tank, en hiermee wordt de bestuurder middels deze verlichting geattendeerd op het fijt dat deze binnen afzienbare tijd zal gaan moeten tanken. De purist die deze extra optie niet ziet zitten, hoeft deze optie niet aan te sluiten. De Classic Evo Gauge® elektronica komt in een aparte unit. Dit stuurkastje kan in een straal van +/- 20 cm rondom de teller unit geplaatst worden. Met deze stuurunit wordt de nieuwe meter gestuurd. Deze Elektronische sturing kan met 3 draadjes worden aangesloten aan de originele bekabeling. Classic Evo Gauge® heeft ervoor gezorgd dat er niet in originele kabelbomen of bekabeling hoeft worden gemodificeerd of geknipt. Classic Evo Gauge® kiest hiervoor om ook hier ervoor te zorgen dat de klassieke voertuigen zo origineel mogelijk kunnen blijven. De Classic Evo Gauge® brandstof indicator is super eenvoudig te programmeren op elke originele en after-market vlotter. Middels een eenvoudige switch / schakelaar en je contactsleutel is de (op dat moment actuele) stand van de vlotter eenvoudig in te lezen / leren in de elektronica. De in-geleerde stand wordt getoond op het scherm , en met een Blauwe Led indicatie bevestigd. Dit dient te gebeuren met zowel een lege tank almede met een volle tank. Hiermee weet de meter wat stand “tank vol” en “tank leeg” is. Deze standen (“tank vol” en “tank leeg”) kunnen op elk moment opnieuw worden ingelezen / in-geleerd en hoeven derhalve niet direct allebei worden in-geleerd , WEL is het handig on stand “Tank leeg” bij de initiële installatie te voltooien. De stand “Tank Vol” zou dan (om praktische redenen) tijdens of kort na de volgende tankbeurt kunnen gebeuren. Tot slot is het bij de Classic Evo Gauge® mogelijk om middels wederom 2 schakelaars te kiezen tussen 2 lichtsterktes voor de reserve meldingen. Met deze schakelaars kan er worden gekozen tussen 2 verschillende licht intensiteiten voor de teller verlichting op het moment dat de wijzer de reserve stand van de meter raakt , deze standen zijn respectievelijk 50 en 100% lichtsterkte en kunnen naar keuze / smaak van de klant worden ingesteld
