Argonnerwald.com Argonnerwald is a company that supplies authentic reproductions to re-enacters. Normally on a string around the neck.

Through our own experience we know that re-enactement is more than just putting on a military uniform and equipment and replaying battles. For most re-enactors it is an educational activity in which participants attempt to recreate some aspects of a historical event or period. It is very often in the detail that makes the appearance of a reenactor complete. Most soldiers in world war 1 and world

war 2 wore an identification tag (Erkennungsmarke) with his personal data. To light a cigar, cigarette or pipe, the soldier used, for example, matches with branchenames from that time. Authentic looking signs (for instance roadsigns) makes the scenario around the re-enactors complete.
