𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀
Using less gas to heat process water. A great ambition, but what does it actually deliver in practice?

Three heat pumps have now been running at Lavans B.V. for a full year. TBR Solutions supplied and installed the system, and the results speak for themselves: with the same number of kilos of laundry processed, gas consumption dropped from 401,114 m³ to 287,521 m³. That’s a reduction of more than 28% in just twelve months! 👏 😃

And there’s more to come. Lavans is expanding its boiler capacity from 20 to 50 m³ and will soon add a fourth heat pump to the system. For us at TBR Solutions, this is exactly what it’s all about: smart engineering that doesn’t just look good on paper, but delivers measurable results in everyday operations.

👋 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 | 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝘄𝗲 [𝘚𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳]
From writing his own software to programming the machines that run on it: that’s what Douwe enjoys most! 💻⚙️

At TBR Solutions, Douwe develops, programs and maintains control systems for our projects. He also installs and troubleshoots PLCs. With a background in Software Engineering at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, he combines software development with practical engineering.

Outside of work, Douwe enjoys working on CAD, 3D printing and programming projects. He also has a soft spot for analogue technology. He still shoots on film and likes repairing old mechanical objects, from clocks to typewriters. 📸

Whether it’s a control system or an old typewriter, Douwe enjoys figuring out how things work.

At TBR Solutions, we work hard, but there’s always time for some fun! Recently, we headed out for an afternoon of go-karting and BBQ with the team. A little friendly competition, lots of laughs and a great afternoon together! 🏎️🏁🙌

𝗡𝗮 𝟮𝟲 𝗷𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗷 𝗧𝗕𝗥 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗸 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘄 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘂𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗲𝘁.
26 jaar. Dat zijn heel wat projecten, kilometers, landen, collega's, klanten en vooral heel veel herinneringen.

Henk Klatter heeft in die jaren een belangrijke bijdrage geleverd aan TBR Solutions. Van projecten dichtbij tot bijzondere opdrachten over de hele wereld. Met zijn kennis, ervaring en betrokkenheid, maar zeker ook met zijn humor, was hij een vertrouwd gezicht binnen onze organisatie en voor veel van onze klanten en relaties.🌍

Nu is het tijd voor een nieuwe fase. We kijken met veel waardering terug op de 26 jaar die we samen hebben gehad. We zijn dankbaar voor alles wat Henk voor TBR heeft betekend en wensen hem vooral heel veel plezier en succes met alles wat er op zijn pad komt.

Tegelijkertijd blijft TBR Solutions volop in beweging. Als organisatie hebben we duidelijke ambities voor de toekomst. We blijven groeien en investeren in onze mensen, kennis en innovatieve water & energie-oplossingen voor uiteenlopende branches en industrieën.

Nieuwe collega's hebben inmiddels hun weg binnen TBR gevonden en er komen nog meer nieuwe gezichten bij, want we groeien!

Een mooi moment dus om stil te staan bij wat is geweest én met vertrouwen vooruit te kijken. We sluiten een bijzonder hoofdstuk af en bouwen ondertussen volop verder aan de toekomst van TBR Solutions.

This week, our team is in Shanghai for Texcare Asia and China Laundry Expo, and it has been inspiring to see the innovations on show.

We also visited Weishi, a manufacturer of washing machines, to see their approach first-hand. Talking with local experts about where the industry is heading in the East gave us a valuable perspective that you simply can't get from a distance.
