We recently welcomed Tools AB from Sweden to Gusella Bakker for product training on the GEJO 01 container emptying system.
Designed for reliability and efficiency, the GEJO 01 makes emptying (underground) waste containers safer, easier and faster, while reducing maintenance and downtime.

The visit focused on operating the GEJO 01 for their work in Sweden. A valuable opportunity to share practical product knowledge and connect in person.

Supporting our customers goes beyond supplying equipment. Helping them understand and use it with confidence is part of our commitment.

A finished grab contains a lot more work than you might see from the outside.

By the time the different components arrive at our assembly area, several production steps have already taken place. This is where everything starts coming together.

Our assembly team brings the mechanical and hydraulic components together and turns separate parts into a complete high-end attachment. And despite all the software and machinery available in modern manufacturing, this stage still comes down to something that is difficult to automate:

Practical experience.

Knowing how components fit together, recognising when something needs attention and understanding the product you are building.

It takes more than digitalisation and machinery alone, to manufacture industrial equipment. It takes dedicated people who know the job.

Quality is not something you check at the end. It is something you protect at every stage.

From goods receipt through production to final assembly, one step remains essential throughout the process: inspection.

Our colleagues don't just build. They check the work that has been done, inspect critical details and make sure every attachment is ready for the next stage.

Because identifying something that needs attention during production is always better than discovering it later. Inspection may not be the most spectacular part of manufacturing. It rarely makes the product brochure.

But it is one of the things that makes the difference between simply building a product and building it right.

Something looks different in Elst. 👀

After giving our service van a fresh new look, it was time for the next step: our facility.

New signage, flags and exterior branding now make the Gusella Bakker identity visible from the moment you arrive. Inside, new visuals continue that same look throughout the building.

It’s great to see it all come together.

Because while our surroundings have changed, what Gusella Bakker stands for remains firmly rooted in what we have been doing since 1939: engineering, manufacturing and building practical solutions for our customers.

Friday afternoon at Gusella Bakker. Things got a little out of hand… 😂

Two of our assembly engineers had some fun with AI, and somehow we ended up looking like the cast of the next Hollywood action movie.

The size of our Orange Peel Grapple became much smaller and somehow their muscles much bigger. Apparently nobody’s skipping the gym anymore. 💪

How realistic is it? We’ll leave that up to you. 😂
