On 10.01.2022 Mr Georg Diem will join the team as Sales Manager DACH (Germany, Austria, Swiss) for the complete ROHR-IDRECO portfolio, taking over the responsibilities from our Thomas Kuhn.

Georg brings more than 23 years of experience as a process project and sales engineer, was head of a sales and project department for pumps and process technology and acted in the past as a trainer and person responsible for knowledge transfer of mechanical process technology.

We are excited to welcome Georg on board and wish him a good start.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You are part of a team responsible for designing, producing, or retrofitting dredging equipment. As Naval Architect you study design proposals and specifications to establish basic characteristics of a stationary dredger, such as size, weight, and basic layouts. Additionally, you develop the basic structure of the hull to establish the center of gravity, ideal dimensions, and data on buoyancy and stability in different working conditions.

Per direct zijn wij opzoek naar een Administratieve voorraadverwerker/Expeditor voor de lokatie Doetinchem.

Jij zorgt er binnen de organisatie voor dat bestellingen op tijd binnenkomen, dat voorraadmutaties juist en tijdig worden doorgevoerd in het ERP systeem en dat het in- en outbound transport geregeld wordt. Je bent dus zowel organisatorisch als administratief actief. Je bent ondersteunend aan de inkoper en zorgt ervoor dat de administratieve processen rondom inkoop en magazijn soepel, goed en op tijd verlopen.

Assembly on site in Poland of the DRAGA 5540. A dredger with our in-house IDP400 pump and a suction depth of 55 meters. Additional features for this dredger are an electric 600 kW motor and an IE4 label, and especially its full remote control/no-man operation. The dredger is also equipped with the automatic jet power control system “iDredge”.

Once again a state-of-the-art ROHR-IDRECO dredger for sustainable mining.

We have accordingly decided to immediately move to a different way of working. Our Offices in Holland, Germany and France are still staffed to take your calls and answer your emails, and receive or send goods, while all other personnel are working from home.

No doubt we will be facing some challenges in the weeks ahead, but we will take every possible measure to ensure that we continue to operate seamlessly. Let us all work together so that these challenges remain manageable and short-lived.

Busy times! Last week we have commissioned another Jet Suction DRAGA for one of our German Customers. This efficient dredger is equipped with 3D-DGPS system and able to pump a mixture of 1100m3/hr, at a depth of 13m and to a distance of 300m. All of this with only 250kW of installed power. This week we will continue with the hand-over including training and production optimization.

This week we did the commissioning of a new dredger for our client in Bonita Springs, Florida. The dredger is equipped with an IDP 450 pump powered by a 750 Kw energy efficient permanent magnet underwater motor. The sand pump system is designed for 3200 m³, depending on the material, to produce between 500 and 1500 tons of material. Max suction depth 30 meters.

As a special option, the client has chosen to equip the dredger with 2 jet pumps that, in parallel, give the 8 head Jet Head and the single nozzle Waterjet up to 9 bars, or 16 bars when connected in serie, of pressure.

This dredger is the first equipped with a new design cabin with comfortable swivel operator seat and air-conditioned.
