When lives are on the line, brochures and spec sheets don’t cut it. First responders need equipment they can trust blindly—gear they’ve handled, tested, and pushed to the limit themselves.

We recently joined local Dutch firefighters (Brandweer) on-site for hands-on testing and training with our Dutch Recovery System Sn**ch Shackles.

They needed a lightweight sn**ch block solution capable of handling the diverse cables and ropes across their fleet. Rather than sending paperwork, we brought our gear directly to their station:

Real-World Rigging: Tested live line changes and emergency scenarios.

Maximum Versatility: Demonstrated how one lightweight unit replaces heavy traditional gear across all their lines.

Field-Tested Confidence: Gave the crew complete hands-on familiarity before taking it out on real calls.

What does a 5x Working Load Limit actually look like in the real world?

It looks like thick steel cable failing long before our hardware even flinches. In our latest pull tests, we pushed our Sn**ch Shackles to the absolute limits of the rigging. The result? A fully snapped line and a shackle that held its ground. We engineer these to ensure the rope breaks well before the sn**ch shackle ever does. Zero compromises on safety, ever.

Another Brechtel Spezialfahrzeugbau truck filled with the Dutch Recovery System 😍

Bereits am Dienstag 15.09.2026 durften wir einen Masterlift comfort H aufgebaut auf einem Arocs 8x8 an die Firma Krüger Anröchte übergeben. Die Schrankverkleidung ist wie fast immer aus Edelstahl gefertigt. Die beiden Rotzler Tarvos 25 to. Zugwinden, sowie der Katalysator wurden aus Gewichts und Platzgründen hinter dem Fahrerhaus verbaut.
Wir wünschen Jörg Krüger und Gerhard Krüger viel Spaß mit dem neuen Masterlift und viele Auftäge.

Smooth upending! ⛓️⚡

Lifting long structures upright creates constantly shifting load angles. To keep full control during this upending operation, use the Dutch Recovery System Sn**ch Shackle.

Functioning as an equalizing block, the Sn**ch Shackle allows the cable to adjust continuously as the load rotates. This maintains equal tension on both attachment points from ground level all the way to vertical.

We couldn’t resist sharing another set of great photos from the team at Poort. This time, they’ve hooked up the Dutch Recovery System to a zero-emission Van Hool hydrogen bus.

Safe, efficient, and damage-free towing for heavy-duty and alternative-fuel vehicles alike. Thanks again to the team at Takel & Bergingsbedrijf Poort B.V. for putting our system to work on the road!

Nous n’avons pas pu nous empêcher de partager une autre série de superbes photos de l’équipe de Poort. Cette fois-ci, ils ont raccordé le Dutch Recovery System à un bus à hydrogène Van Hool zéro émission.
