✍️Expanding sustainable shipping solutions in Greece

During Posidonia, DMC and YARDTECH MARINE SERVICES S.A. officially signed an agency agreement for the Damen Air Cavity System (DACS) in Greece. As DMC’s innovative air lubrication solution, DACS helps shipowners reduce fuel consumption and emissions, supporting the maritime industry’s transition towards more sustainable operations.

The agreement was signed by Dora Papadopoulou and Christos Lampropoulos of YARDTECH, together with Stefhan van Esch and Wim Knoester of DMC.

We look forward to working together to make DMC’s DACS more accessible to Greek shipowners and operators, contributing to a more sustainable and efficient future for shipping.

🌊 World Ocean Day

At Damen Marine Components, we believe that efficiency is sustainability. By helping vessels operate more efficiently, we contribute to greener shipping and a lower environmental impact.

Today, we are putting the spotlight on the Damen Air Cavity System (DACS), one of the solutions within our Energy Saving Portfolio. Designed to reduce hull resistance, DACS can deliver fuel savings of typically 5–12%, depending on vessel type.
