Yesterday, we joined Fiets naar je Werk Dag — a Dutch initiative that encourages people to leave the car at home and cycle to work. 🚲

And what a great day it was! With 56 colleagues arriving by bike, fresh smoothies, a bike repair service and music from the FissaFiets, we enjoyed a sporty and cheerful start to the day.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make it such a success! 💚

At Animo, we actively encourage cycling to work; not just on Cycle to Work Day, but every day through our cycling reimbursement program. Because cycling contributes to a healthier lifestyle, a more sustainable commute, and a positive start to the day. 🚴

To celebrate Cycle to Work Day, we’re giving extra attention to everyone who joins the ride. Our colleagues can enjoy fresh smoothies, bike support on-site, and a festive start to the morning. 🎶

Did you know that coffee beans aren’t actually beans?

They’re seeds.

More specifically, they’re the seeds of the coffee cherry: the fruit of the coffee plant. Inside each cherry, you’ll usually find two seeds facing each other. These are processed, roasted and eventually ground to make the coffee we drink.

So technically, your Friday coffee starts with a fruit.
