A skatepark after sunset carries a different kind of energy, where movement, rhythm, and community continue to shape the space.

At Hombruch Skatepark in Dortmund (Germany), this experience is elevated through smart lighting that aligns beautifully with how the space is used in the evening.

To support activity after dusk in a smarter and more sustainable way, the skatepark uses the TVILIGHT LightSwitch App, enabling authorised users to activate lighting on demand for selected groups of lights. The application is designed to give simple, controlled access to specific lighting points, making it easy to provide the right light for the right area at the right moment. Through features such as selections, presets, access codes, direct links, and auto-revert, LightSwitch brings flexibility, convenience, and efficiency to public-space lighting.

This creates a skatepark environment that feels safer, more comfortable, and more welcoming in the evening, while also supporting smarter energy use and a calmer nighttime setting.

Along a calm riverfront, every step feels closer to nature, where quiet surroundings and flowing water define the experience.

At Rheinaue Rechtsrheinisch, a 35-hectare riverside park along the Rhine in Bonn (Germany), this experience is preserved while enhancing safety and experience.

To preserve this atmosphere after dusk, the park integrates adaptive lighting powered by TVILIGHT CitySense Plus motion sensors. Lighting remains gently dimmed during quiet hours and brightens instantly as visitors approach, maintaining a sense of safety while keeping the night calm, natural, and undisturbed.
