In the second half of this year, we will begin the construction of a remarkable new installation.
Designed to generate steam from the combustion of oat husks, this project is another great example of how residual biomass streams can be transformed into a valuable and sustainable energy source.
The project is a collaboration between MVV Energie AG, Rubinmühle and KARA.
Although construction on site has not yet started, a tremendous amount of work has already been carried out behind the scenes. Engineering, coordination, manufacturing, quality control and preparation all play a crucial role in ensuring that the complete system will perform exactly as intended.
At the heart of the installation are two essential components: the combustion chamber and the steam boiler. Together, they form the beating heart of the system.
At our factory, our colleagues are currently putting the finishing touches on these key components with great expertise, precision and dedication. It is inspiring to see the passion and craftsmanship that go into every detail.
Soon, their work will proudly move on to the next phase of the project.
A great milestone in a project where technology, collaboration and sustainable energy come together.
