From our founder’s desk-

In newborn care, time is not just critical —
time is life.

In many of the communities we work in, a baby with severe jaundice does not die because treatment does not exist.

They die because:

The facility is too far.
Power supply is unstable.
Referral comes too late.
Equipment is too expensive or unavailable.

So I founded Tiny Hearts Technology after witnessing how something treatable becomes fatal simply because care is out of reach.

That reality shaped our first innovation: Crib A’glow - a solar-powered, low-cost phototherapy system designed for health facilities that do not have the luxury of uninterrupted electricity or advanced neonatal units.

But this work has never been about a device.

It is about strengthening the hands of the health worker in the primary health centre.
It is about bringing life-saving care closer to the baby.
It is about proving that where a child is born should not determine if that child survives.

Every deployment reminds us:

Innovation in low-resource settings must be
accessible, durable, affordable, and designed for real conditions - not ideal ones.

Through Tiny Hearts , we are committed to:

👶🏽 reducing preventable newborn deaths
🏥 supporting frontline health facilities
🌍 building context-driven health innovations in Africa

We are looking to collaborate with partners who are passionate about:

• scaling newborn survival solutions
• strengthening primary healthcare systems
• local manufacturing & distribution
• implementation across underserved communities

Because saving newborn lives is not a single-organisation mission - it is a systems mission.

How we’re closing the gaps in newborn healthcare across Nigeria and Africa.
1️⃣ We produce and deploy solar-powered Crib A’glow phototherapy units, ensuring hospitals can treat jaundice effectively — with or without electricity.

2️⃣ We equip health workers with training to confidently set up and deliver life-saving care using Crib A’glow.

3️⃣ We partner with Ministries of Health and governments to scale access, so no baby is left untreated because of distance, cost, or power failure.

4️⃣ We design and run sensitization programs that empower mothers and fathers with knowledge on the dangers of untreated jaundice, driving early and safe care.

🌍 From rural clinics to urban hospitals, we are making sure every baby has the right to survive and thrive — regardless of circumstances.

Every new setup means one more baby’s life saved, one more family’s joy restored. 💕

We’re so excited to see YOU take part in this journey of saving tiny hearts. 💫 Together, we can end newborn jaundice deaths!

🍼 Phototherapy saves babies from jaundice, but protecting them from infection is just as important.
Crib A’glow is safe for your little one, but germs can spread if we don’t take the right steps. Here are 5 simple ways to keep your baby safe during treatment:

1️⃣ Use a clean disposable cover – Always place your baby on a fresh cover. Change it every 24 hours or sooner if it gets soiled.

2️⃣ Clean the crib properly – After each session, wipe the crib with a soft cotton pad dipped in diluted Dettol or Savlon. Make sure the surface is completely dry before placing your baby back.

3️⃣ Wash your hands – Before and after touching your baby or the crib, wash with soap and water (or use hand sanitizer if water isn’t available). This reduces the chance of spreading infections.

4️⃣ Check your baby daily – Look closely at your baby’s skin and eyes. If you notice redness, swelling, or discharge, stop and seek medical help immediately.

5️⃣ Follow health worker’s guidance – Always stick to the advice given by your nurse or doctor. Don’t wait if you see changes — early action saves lives.
