DON’T EVER CUT MY JOY!!!
Few months ago, we had this new client who got to us, through another client that referred us to him. In his words, he said, “ I was told you people own this town in Solar energy installations, therefore, I was advised to leave mine in your hands.”
At first, I smiled, not because his sentence wasn’t making sense, but because this is not the first time we are getting this kind of words from first time clients who haven’t even tested any of our services yet.
So, we had to apply our usual professionalism to the business so as to get his power needs with the aim of not just satisfying him, but also to offer him a service that will stand the test of time while giving him the value for the money he is about to spend.
We proceeded to getting his load requirements, which was simply done by summing up the power ratings of the appliances he needed to power up on solar, bearing in mind the necessary factors to be put into consideration, we gave him an 8kw hybrid inverter system, two units of 15kwh lithium-ion battery and 16 units of 585w half-cut solar panels.
After sending him the design and the BOQ, he sincerely expressed his desire in getting the designed system installed for him, but then, due to some financial constraints and unforeseen circumstances beyond his control as he said, he may not be doing it all at once.
Still in a bid to deliver quality over quantity, in a very affordable manner, and in line with our set standards and policies which we never compromise, we suggested to him to start up the process with one battery, and later on, he can add up as more batteries, solar panels and inverters as he may need, which could be called an Upgrade.
Vooom!!! He concurred to our suggestion and boom, he made his payment. Normally, we are usually active more than the word ACTIVE itself, and when it comes to delivering, we deliver more than the Hebrew women. We supplied the goods down to his town, located somewhere in Abia State, and in few days, we got the site connected to the power of the sun.
The first night he used the light till the next morning, his joy knew no bounds. After commissioning the site the next day and teaching him how the system works, we left.
Fast-forward to last week, getting to two months after the installation, he called again and said, “Engineer, please bring the other battery. Please don’t ever cut my joy. He added that he doesn’t ever want to go back to not having power supply in his humble home, not even for a second.
At first, I asked him about the system performance so far, and he said that “since the day we left, his house has never seen darkness, even in the rainy days.”
Ultimately, because we are committed to ensuring that everyone and every office, house, business, industry, etc are connected to our series of smart solutions, we delivered the second battery to him and got it installed.
Having a working solar system in your abode is no longer a flex, but a necessity.
