By modifying the design of a standard motorcycle and turning it into a 3 wheeler using parts which are locally available, the tryctor was born and built here in Nigeria. The tryctor is designed to carry out various farming operations similar to those of a conventional tractor by attaching various implements, but to a smaller scale. It is affordable, easy for farmers to maintain and mechanics to ca
rry out basic repairs should the need arise. The tryctor is supplied with: A Disc Plough, a Tine Cultivator, a Harrow, a Planter and a Trailer. The tryctor was invented indigenously by Femi Odeleye of Bespoke Design Concepts Ltd in the year 2004. After churning out several working prototypes, rigorous testing and further research and development in collaboration with NCAM, mass production commenced in 2013.
