Not everything you have today is meant to be spent today.

Sometimes, what you are holding is not your reward.

It is your seed.

The money you are tempted to spend may be the money you need to reinvest.
The profit you want to withdraw may be what your business needs to expand.
The opportunity you want to use for comfort today may be what could create something bigger tomorrow.

When you eat the seed, you satisfy today's hunger—but you lose tomorrow's harvest.

This doesn't mean you should never enjoy the fruits of your hard work. It means you must learn the difference between consuming your harvest and destroying your seed.

Not every profit should be withdrawn.
Not every opportunity should be consumed.
Not every increase should immediately become a lifestyle
Sometimes, you have to sacrifice a little comfort today so you can enjoy a much bigger reward tomorrow.

Be patient with your growth.
Protect your seed.
Nurture it.
Reinvest it.
Give it time.
Because the seed you protect today may become the harvest that changes your life tomorrow.

You may not see anything changing right now, but that doesn't mean God is not working.

Some answers take time, and some things are happening quietly before they become visible.

Keep your faith. What you cannot see does not mean nothing is happening.

There are times when you look at your life and honestly wonder, “Am I even making progress?”

You are working, trying to save money, learning, making plans, cutting back, starting over when things don't work out, but somehow you still feel stuck.

It's frustrating.

But don't measure your entire journey by what you can see today.

Keep making better choices. Keep learning from your mistakes. Keep adjusting when something isn't working.

You don't have to pretend everything is fine, and you don't have to rush your life just because someone else seems ahead.

Some progress is obvious. Some of it is simply becoming wiser, stronger, more disciplined, and better prepared.

Maybe you're not where you want to be yet. But are you really the same person you were a year ago?

Sometimes, that's progress too.

Make yourself happy. Don’t expect happiness from others.

Sometimes, we spend too much time waiting for someone else to make us happy. We expect people to call, check on us, understand us, appreciate us, or always be there for us. And when they don't, we feel disappointed.

But people are human. They will change, get busy, disappoint you, and sometimes simply not give you what you hoped for.

That is why your happiness can not depend
entirely on other people.

Learn to enjoy your own company. Find joy in the little things. Do what gives you peace. Celebrate yourself, even when nobody is clapping for you.

People can add to your happiness, but they should not be the only source of it. Create a life that still feels good even when nobody is around.

You don't have to set yourself on fire just to keep everyone else warm. Protect your peace.

Many people spend their lives trying to make everyone happy. They keep saying "yes" when they really want to say "no." They carry burdens that aren't theirs, ignore their own needs, and sacrifice their peace just to avoid disappointing others.

But the truth is, you can not pour from an empty cup. If you're constantly giving without taking care of yourself, one day you'll have nothing left to give.

Being kind doesn't mean neglecting yourself. Loving others doesn't mean losing yourself. Setting boundaries doesn't make you selfish, it makes you wise.

Take care of your mind. Protect your peace. Choose people who value your heart, not just your help.

Remember, you don't have to set yourself on fire just to keep everyone else warm.

Not every problem can be solved with medicine. Some hearts need peace, forgiveness, and God.

An 80-year-old woman was once invited to speak to young couples.

Everyone expected her to share the secret of staying married for over 50 years.
She smiled and said,
"I don't have a perfect marriage to talk about. I have a marriage that survived because we refused to give up on each other."

The room became quiet.

Then she continued,
"Young couples ask me, 'Mama, what's the secret?'

My answer is always the same.
Don't keep score.
If your husband hurts you today and genuinely apologizes, don't bring it up again during the next argument.
If your wife makes a mistake and you forgive her, let it remain forgiven.

A home is not a courtroom where you keep presenting old evidence.
It's a place where two imperfect people choose each other every single day."
She paused for a moment and added,
"I have seen marriages end, not because there was no love, but because there was too much pride.
Nobody wanted to say, 'I was wrong.'
Nobody wanted to forgive first.
Everybody wanted to win the argument.
But in marriage, when one person wins the argument and the other loses, the marriage itself loses."

Before she left the stage, she gave one final piece of advice.

"If you want a marriage that lasts, don't ask yourself every day, 'Am I happy?'
Ask yourself, 'Am I helping to make this home a place of peace?'
Because love is not something you feel once.
Love is something you choose, especially on the days when it is hardest to choose."

The audience rose to their feet in applause, not because she spoke fancy English, but because everyone could hear the wisdom that only life can teach.
