PERSONALITY OF THE DAY

Meet Joseph Ada-iti Solomon, aka JAS, from Adamawa State, and a proud face of Resilience 25 – Class of 2024.

Born on July 13th, he’s passionate about Power Plant Engineering (ME561) and looks up to Prof. Robinson.

His toughest year? 300L.
His best? 500L.

Outside class, JAS enjoys playing the keyboard, watching cartoons, singing, and reading. If not in MPE, he'd be in Automobile Engineering.

His hardest moment was rewriting Electrical Machines twice. Through it all, his faith keeps him grounded:

PERSONALITY OF THE DAY

Meet Usman Dalhatu Aliyu, fondly called Saleem, from Gombe State, and a proud member of the Resilience 25 – Class of 2024.

Born on September 14th, Saleem’s love for ME511 and admiration for Engr. Ali reflect his deep passion for Mechanical Engineering. Off the books, he enjoys chess and video games.

While 300L was his toughest year, 400L was his best. If not MPE, he’d be in Nursing – proof of his caring spirit.

His most trying campus moment?

“I had to sleep in the mosque after my roommates locked me out.”

Through it all, he stays focused with his favorite quote:

“We didn’t come this far just to come this far.”

Resilient. Focused. Saleem.
