Car Soundproofing the KL Auto way.

We craft cars to feel NOT Heavy.

Many always ask us how many layers Soundproofing we use for doors, how thick etc ??

With our 40+ years experience, we do NOT advice to Waste unnecessary Weight & Costs on a "Non- Noise Source" area like doors.
However, if one insists, we can do.
Nobody says No to extra profits : ).

There are No tires, engine, exhaust pipes in doors. We treat doors to reduce vibration and resonance.
There are however some cases where we need to add additional insulation for some budget car models.

There's a word in professional Acoustics industry called " -Damping".
This is when the cabin/room feels Dull, Heavy, Pressurized.
In cars, it is especially so when you are going faster when pressure builds up & gets trapped in the cabin.

We only recommend Multiple layered treatment for Noise -Source areas like Firewall, Floorpan.

The Art to a Quieter, Comfortable & Natural cabin ambience is knowing where to treat and with what material and most critically, where NOT to.
