ZF Aftermarket received the Appreciation Award for Exceptional Training Support from YonMing Group on 13 March 2026.

A recognition of 25 years of partnership, technical excellence, and shared commitment to the commercial vehicle industry—together with WABCO.

ZF Aftermarket was presented with the Appreciation Award for Exceptional Training Support by YonMing Group on March 13, 2026. The award was presented by YonMing Group Managing Director, Alex Kau Yong Ming, during the company’s supplier appreciation dinner event.

YonMing Group‘s partnership with ZF Aftermarket began 25 years ago in 2021 when the Malaysian firm started distributing the original ZF product line. In 2008, YonMing started its collaboration with commercial vehicle safety system specialist WABCO, which eventually became part of the ZF Group.

YonMing Group told Truck & Bus News that its relationship with ZF Aftermarket was built on shared technical standards, mutual market growth, and a common commitment to the commercial vehicle market across the region. This foundation turned what began as a mere supplier relationship into a strategic alliance.

The Appreciation Award for Exceptional Training Support itself recognised ZF Aftermarket‘s role in delivering a comprehensive training programme about WABCO product features to both YonMing internal team members and its customer-facing staff. Conducted by Thomas Yan, the training covered operating principles, system architecture, and field diagnostics on pneumatic braking systems. In this particular session, Yan introduced advanced modules on proper dismantling procedures, systematic inspection protocols, and correct installation practices, with particular emphasis on advanced safety systems.

“At ZF Aftermarket, we continuously support our partners through technical training and marketing initiatives to strengthen product knowledge and capabilities. We appreciate the trust and look forward to continuing this successful partnership,” ZF Aftermarket commented on the award.
