Another significant milestone delivered successfully ⚡

CHINT Global Malaysia is proud to support the energisation of a major data centre project in Gelang Patah, Johor with the successful delivery and installation of 2 units of 275kV 120MVA Power Transformers.

As Malaysia continues to emerge as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing data centre hubs, the demand for reliable, stable, and high-capacity power infrastructure has become increasingly critical. The 275kV transformers play a vital role in supporting mission-critical operations by ensuring grid reliability, operational stability, and long-term energy efficiency for large-scale digital infrastructure developments.

Beyond equipment supply, this project also demonstrates CHINT Global Malaysia’s strengthening local project ex*****on capabilities. Supported by dedicated local project managers and experienced site engineers, our team works closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery, testing, commissioning and on-site coordination in compliance with Malaysia’s utility and site requirements.

This capability reflects CHINT’s continued commitment to not only building reliable power equipment, but also strengthening local engineering and service support for Malaysia’s rapidly evolving energy and industrial landscape.

CHINT Malaysia Hosts TAM Melaka Branch Delegation for Smart Manufacturing and Energy Technology Exchange

CHINT Malaysia was honored to welcome a delegation from the Technological Association Malaysia (TAM) Melaka Branch for an exclusive technology and industrial exchange visit to CHINT’s advanced manufacturing and innovation facilities in Shanghai and Wenzhou, China.

The delegation, consisting of 21 experienced engineering and technology professionals from Malaysia, initiated the visit with strong interest in understanding CHINT’s global manufacturing capabilities, smart industrial technologies, and integrated energy solutions as Malaysia continues accelerating its industrial transformation and energy transition journey.

Throughout the visit, the delegates explored CHINT’s key manufacturing plants, intelligent laboratories and R&D facilities covering power transformers, switchgear systems, low-voltage electrical solutions, automation technologies and smart energy infrastructure. The exchange provided deeper insights into how advanced manufacturing, digitalisation and intelligent power systems are shaping the future of modern industries and energy networks.

The visit also created valuable discussions on emerging trends in Malaysia, including industrial upgrading, data centre development, renewable energy integration and smart infrastructure expansion - areas where reliable and intelligent electrical solutions are becoming increasingly critical.

As a global smart energy solutions provider with growing local presence in Malaysia, CHINT remains committed to strengthening collaboration with industry associations, engineering communities and technology partners to support the country’s long-term industrial development and sustainable energy goals.
