Clues, challenges and plenty of friendly competition at our Library Open Day! 📚🔍

On 25 August 2026, our colleagues gathered at our library for an engaging session featuring the Clue-Based Library Hunt and Knowledge Games.

Participants put their observation, problem-solving and general knowledge skills to the test as they explored the library and worked through each activity.

Congratulations to all our winners, with prizes including POPULAR vouchers worth up to RM100. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the event an enjoyable and memorable one.

Branch connections made simple.

The VISION Mechanical Tee – Grooved Outlet provides a practical way to create a branch connection from a main pipeline once the required opening has been prepared.

Its pressure-responsive EPDM gasket seals around the pipe opening, while the grooved outlet provides the connection point for the branch piping. This allows a mid-pipe branch to be introduced without the need for welding.

Designed for fire protection and mechanical piping systems, the fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved, with working pressure up to 300 PSI for the applicable sizes.

Same purpose. Different approach to alignment.

ALFRAN Carbon Steel SCH 40 Concentric and Eccentric Reducers are both used to connect pipes of different sizes, but the difference in their profiles affects how the pipework is aligned.

A Concentric Reducer reduces symmetrically around a common centreline, keeping both pipe ends centred along the same axis.

An Eccentric Reducer uses an offset profile, allowing the top or bottom of the connected pipework to remain on the same level where the piping layout requires it.

Neither design is simply “better” than the other. The appropriate reducer depends on the orientation, alignment and requirements of the piping system.

Today, Unitrade organised an On-Site Influenza Vaccination and Health Screening at our company premises, making preventive healthcare more accessible to our employees.

Employees had the opportunity to receive influenza vaccinations and undergo complimentary checks for BMI, blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol. Additional health screening packages were also available for those seeking a more comprehensive assessment.

The initiative encouraged our employees to take a proactive approach towards their health through vaccination, early detection and greater awareness of their overall well-being.

Thank you to AIA Malaysia and the medical team from Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur for facilitating the session, as well as everyone who participated.
