In 2006, ProEight was awarded Vendor Development Program (VDP) status by PETRONAS for the Provision to Manufacture and Refurbishment of Mechanical Seal. Currently, ProEight provides services and after sales supports to all customers which include installation of

mechanical seals at site, comprehensive evaluation report on mechanical seal failure, technical analysis report for repeatable failure, 24/7 standby for emergency request and etc.

Bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry experience.

Last week, ProEight Sdn Bhd had the pleasure of hosting students and lecturers from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia UTHM for an industrial visit to our facility.

Throughout the session, participants gained first-hand exposure to our engineering solutions, manufacturing capabilities, repair technologies, and quality assurance practices in the rotating equipment industry.

A big thank you to UTHM for visiting us. We look forward to supporting the development of future engineering talent through industry-academia collaboration.

ProEight Sdn Bhd was pleased to host a technical discussion session with EPOMS at our Rawang facility, focused on strengthening mechanical seal reliability and improving performance for critical rotating equipment applications.

The session focused on key technical objectives, including witnessing air-pressure seal testing and conducting root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on mechanical seal design and API Plan review to further evaluate performance, reliability, and application suitability. Strengthening Reliability Through Knowledge Sharing

ProEight Sdn Bhd recently conducted a 2-day Mechanical Seal Training Program for Petronas Gas Berhad - Gas Processing Kerteh (GPK), designed to strengthen technical understanding and practical competency in mechanical seal systems for improved equipment reliability and maintenance performance.

Led by our experienced technical specialists, the session was delivered by Mr Yong Weng Peng and Mr Akmal Hakim, combining in-depth engineering knowledge with practical field expertise.

Day 1 focused on theory and technical fundamentals, where participants gained deeper insight into:

* Mechanical seal design and operating principles
* Common failure modes and root cause analysis
* Seal selection and application best practices
* Reliability improvement and maintenance strategies

Day 2 shifted into hands-on practical training, where participants were guided through:

* Mechanical seal dismantling and inspection

* Proper installation and handling techniques
* Practical troubleshooting and field application insights
