Primary Crushing of Magnetite Iron Ore

This Striker jaw crusher is operating across continuous day and night shifts on an Australian mine site. The plant is reducing run-of-mine magnetite before it moves through screening, secondary crushing and tertiary crushing.

Magnetite is dense and abrasive, placing a continuous load on the primary crushing stage. The jaw handles the first reduction before the material moves through the rest of the circuit.
