F1 brakes can reach temperatures of up to 1,000°C during a race. 🔥 So how do F1 teams cool them down between runs?
Here’s where it gets interesting.
McLaren takes the original DEWALT blower and modifies it using Formula 1 technology, adding bespoke 3D-printed cooling ducts that direct airflow exactly where the team needs it.
And we’re not talking about a gentle breeze. 💨
The blower pushes air at up to 125 mph (200km/h), a wind speed associated with a Category 3 hurricane. 🌀
When the car stops, it loses the natural airflow it gets while flying around the track. This modified setup allows the team to channel powerful cooling airflow directly to specific areas of the car.
From blowing leaves to cooling an F1 car.
Same DEWALT blower. Just given the Formula 1 treatment. 🏎️🟡

Brake F1 boleh mencecah suhu sehingga 1,000°C ketika berlumba. 🔥 Jadi macam mana team F1 sejukkan brake antara runs?
Kat sini baru menarik.
Cuma dah kena Formula 1 treatment. 🏎️🟡
