JOB VACANCY.
Title: Assistant Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Reporting:
o Prepare and submit reports in a timely and accurate manner.
2. End-User Coordination & Procurement Authorization:
o Act as the primary point of contact for receiving material requests from end users.
o Review and authorize purchases from hardware suppliers in accordance with project requirements and budget constraints.
3. Tender Support:
o Assist the Tender Engineer with documentation, technical calculations, and preparation of tender submissions.
4. Material Pricing Management:
o Maintain and regularly update the material pricing list to ensure accurate cost estimation and procurement planning.
5. Procurement Ex*****on:
o Carry out procurement of approved materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and confirm delivery timelines.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
• Participate in site visits and inspections when required to verify material specifications and project progress.
• Maintain organized records of procurement, pricing, and project documentation.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.
