BS Steel (British Standard / SIRIM Standard):
☑️ Standard: Complies with British Standard, now adopted as SIRIM standard in Malaysia.
☑️ Certification: Comes with mill certification and SIRIM certification, indicating adherence to established standards.
☑️ Dimensions: Accurate diameter and length, with a standard length of 12 meters.
☑️ Quality: Ensured high quality with no deficiencies in diameter, guaranteeing strength and durability suitable for structural use.

CQ Steel (Commercial Quality):
☑️ Standard: Does not comply with official standards like BS or SIRIM.
☑️ Certification: No certification from the mill or SIRIM.
☑️ Dimensions: There is tolerance in diameter and length. Length is usually around 11 meters, with a diameter tolerance deficiency of up to 18%.
☑️ Quality: Lower quality steel, less suitable for structures that require high durability.

🚧🚧🚧HOW to Differentiate Y-bar Steel (Example Y-12)
To differentiate Y-bar Y-12 steel as either BS or CQ, the following characteristics can be observed:

Y-12 BS Steel:
☑️ Diameter: Approximately 12 mm with very small tolerance.
☑️ Length: Standard length of 12 meters.
☑️ Certification: Comes with SIRIM certification and mill certification, ensuring compliance with standards.

Y-12 CQ Steel:

Especially in areas with soft or unstable soil, piling provides the stability and support needed for your dream home to stand the test of time.

The concrete piles comes in different sizes such as 100mm, 125mm, 150mm etc. At our site, we're using 150mm x 150mm concrete piles, following building codes to ensure the highest standards of safety and durability. Each pile is meticulously driven to its design depth or resistance(set), which is the purpose we draw the line on the piles in order to determine the depth of the last 10 blows.
