Motegi challenged us in many ways.

A strong start, valuable track time, and moments that reminded us how fine the margins are in endurance racing.

Every lap, every stint, every decision — all part of the process.

This short film captures the journey behind the race,
the focus, the teamwork, and the progress we’re building with each session.

TRD x Alphard Aero Body

Built for those who demand more from their luxury MPV, the TRD treatment transforms the already commanding Alphard into something sharper, bolder, and unmistakably aggressive. A sculpted Front Spoiler, sleek Side Skirts, and a Rear Bumper Spoiler with High Response Muffler give it that low, purposeful stance. Finish it off with the 19" TRD TF5 Alloy Wheels and the look is complete.

Race day here at Suzuka Circuit. 🇯🇵

We started P3 and brought it home in P5 in the ST-Z class.

It was a long and demanding 5-hour race in the Super Taikyu Series. We managed to lead the race for 3.5 hours, but after the FCY, we dropped back to P5 by the finish.

Overall, we’re encouraged by how the weekend came together. The car showed better pace, and we’re getting closer to where we need it to be.

The drivers did a strong job keeping things consistent throughout, and the team executed well across the race.

Compared to the last round, this is a step forward for us.

We’ll take it, build on it, and keep pushing.

Next up — Round 3 at Fuji Speedway (24 Hours), June 5–7.

Keep the support coming in — it fuels us. 🇲🇾

Qualifying day here at Suzuka Circuit. 🇯🇵

We came into today with quiet hopes — just wanting to see where we stand after the work put in over the past few days. In a field like the Super Taikyu Series, nothing is ever guaranteed.

P3 in the ST-Z class.

It may not be the top step, but for us, it means a lot. It’s a small sign that the progress we’ve been working towards is starting to show. Step by step, we’re finding our way.

Big credit to the team and drivers for putting everything together today. There’s still a long road ahead, and we know the challenge only gets tougher from here. But moments like this remind us that we’re heading in the right direction.

We stay grounded. We keep working.

Tomorrow is race day — 5 hours.

Race starts at 11AM Malaysia time. We’ll need all the support we can get.

To everyone back home — cheer us on.
We’re doing this for Malaysia. 🇲🇾

Super Taikyu - Round 2 - Suzuka International Racing Course.

It was a calm and beautiful morning at Suzuka Circuit as we arrived for Round 2 of the Super Taikyu Series.

No big statements, no expectations. Just a quiet focus on the work ahead.

Today was paid practice. The boys headed out in the Toyota GR Supra GT4, taking their first proper laps around Suzuka this weekend. It’s a track that demands respect. Every corner has its own character, and nothing comes easy here. So the goal was simple — learn, understand, and slowly build confidence.

Lap by lap, we worked through different setups, making small changes, trying to feel what the car needed around this circuit. Nothing dramatic, just steady progress. The session went smoothly, and we managed to gather what we came for.

This round will be a 5-hour race. Long, demanding, and unforgiving. We know we still have a lot to learn.

Tomorrow, we go again. Another day of testing, another chance to improve.

The last round didn’t go the way we hoped, but we take it as part of the process. The level here in Super Taikyu is high — many of the drivers & teams are experienced professionals, and every detail matters.

So for now, we stay grounded. Keep working. Keep learning.

Hopefully, with a bit more time on track, we’ll find a better balance in the car.

One step at a time.

What a start to the season. Mitchell Cheah delivered a strong second place finish on his debut at the Japanese Toyota Gazoo Racing GR86/BRZ Clubman Series at Autopolis Circuit, putting Wing Hin Motorsports right back in the mix as defending champions. The team heads into the new season with momentum already on their side.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's Mitchell Cheah got off to an impressive start in his racing debut in Japan when he gave Wing Hin Motorsports a second place finish in the opening round of the Japanese Toyota Gazoo Racing GR86/BRZ Clubman Series at Autopolis Circuit yesterday.

Autopolis. Round 1 — done.

A strong start to the season for us in the TGR GR86/BRZ Cup Japan.

Car #338 — Mitchell Cheah delivers.
Qualified P2. Finished P2.
And set the fastest lap of the race — bringing home an additional point.

A near-perfect weekend, especially considering this was his first time at Autopolis, and his first time racing in a Japanese series.

We leave Round 1 just 5 points off the championship lead.

On the other side of the garage, car #139 — Jordan Johan from TCD Indonesia showed solid progression throughout the weekend.
Qualified P7. Finished P6.

For Jordan, this was more than just a race.
First time at Autopolis.
First time in a Japanese series.
First time driving a RWD race car.

And he delivered.

Step by step, building confidence, understanding, and racecraft in one of the toughest racing environments there is.

This is what this programme is about.

Real racing.
Real learning.
Real development.

A strong haul of points to start the season, but we know this is just the beginning.

6 more rounds to go.
A long way ahead.
And a lot more to fight for.

We stay grounded.
We keep working.
We keep pushing.

We’re back in Japan this week. Back where it all matters.

Autopolis.

We return to the grid for the TGR GR86/BRZ Cup Japan with Moty’s Japan. But this is more than just another race weekend.

Together with Masahiro Sasaki, we continue our mission of developing Southeast Asian drivers by giving them real race exposure in Japan. Building racecraft, discipline, and the mindset needed to compete at a higher level.

Car #338, Clubman Category. Mitchell Cheah behind the wheel.
Continuing his journey under Sasaki-san, step by step, pushing deeper into the Japanese racing environment.

At the same time, the programme grows.
Jordan Johan ( #139) from Indonesia joins us. Another step forward as we expand beyond Malaysia and build a stronger Southeast Asian pipeline into Japan.

Practice has begun.
The pace is coming, but we stay grounded.

Head down.
Focus on the details.
One adjustment at a time.

A few more days before qualifying and race day this Sunday.
Still a lot to learn. Still a lot to build.

Not chasing shortcuts.
Not chasing quick results.
This is long-term development.

Grateful to be here.
Grateful for the opportunity.

We keep pushing.

Race Day.

We gave it everything we had.
And we learned more than we expected.

Maejima-san took the start and delivered a solid opening stint, setting the tone for the race. After his run, we pitted for a driver change to Naquib Azlan. But just one lap after his out lap, a car caught fire on track, bringing out the Safety Car.

Many teams capitalised on that moment.
We didn’t.
And that’s where we started to lose position.

Later in the race, during our final stint, another opportunity slipped away. Amer Harris was in the car, just about to turn into the pits, when Full Course Yellow was deployed. We missed the window by seconds.

One Safety Car.
One FCY.
Both moments we couldn’t maximise.
Both moments that changed our race.

Murphy’s Law.
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

This race humbled us. But this is endurance racing. It’s not just about speed, it’s about timing, decisions, and sometimes, pure luck.

We take the lessons, we take the experience, and we come back stronger.

Next round, Suzuka.
17th to 19th April.

We reset.
We work harder.
We fight again.
