The second machine has arrived.

This rugged 1985 Mercedes-Benz Unimog is currently travelling from Australia through Malaysia, Thailand, India, Nepal, China and back to Germany — supported by Hengst and driven by YouTube couple Pat & Jele.

To prepare the truck for changing fuel qualities and harsh environments, the original fuel system was upgraded to dual Hengst Bluemaxx 450 water separators with integrated heaters.
30 micron prefilter. 10 micron main filter.

Especially with biodiesel on the rise, fuel contamination, sludge build-up and water separation are becoming increasingly important topics in real-world operation.
