🔍 How Hallite 520 Works
The Hallite 520 is designed for hydraulic cylinders exposed to demanding environmental contamination. Its wiping lip maintains firm contact with the piston rod as it moves, scraping away heavily deposited contaminants before the rod retracts into the cylinder.

By preventing these contaminants from entering the cylinder, the 520 helps protect the main rod seal and other internal components from premature wear and damage.

⚙️ Crush Lip + Face Bead Design
One of the key features of the Hallite 520 is its housing-sealing design.
🔹 Crush lip – creates an interference fit with the housing to help prevent contamination from entering around the outside of the wiper.

🔍 How Hallite 37 Works

The Hallite 37 is installed at the exposed end of a hydraulic cylinder to remove external contamination from the piston rod before the rod retracts into the cylinder.

Its sharp, precision-trimmed NBR wiping lip follows slight sideways movement of the rod and scrapes away contaminants such as:

🌫️ Dust and dirt
🟤 Mud and deposits
💧 Moisture
🏗️ General environmental contamination

The wiping element is securely bonded to a metal case, which provides a firm press-fit installation into an open groove housing. The metal case is also treated with a rust inhibitor for improved durability.
