Letter from Steven Ge

I want to personally share an important update with all of you. After 12 years leading the Malaysia office, I will be moving to a new role in ZTE starting this June.

Leading our business in Malaysia has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we have journeyed from copper to fiber, from 3G to 5G, and from connectivity to AI. It has never been easy, with significant challenges, intense competition, and moments that tested our resilience. Looking back, I am deeply proud of what we have built together and the trust we have earned. At the same time, I know there is still much more to be done.

Passing the torch to Alex Liu is the right decision at the right time. With over a decade of experience at ZTE Corporation. He brings strong leadership, deep industry experience, and a clear commitment to our customers and partners. I am confident he is the right leader for the next chapter and believe our best days are still ahead. Over the month, we will work side by side to ensure a smooth transition.

I have made lifelong friends in Malaysia, and for that, I will always be grateful. Thank you for your trust, partnership, and for the privilege of working alongside you over the years.
