Foo Won Noodle started as a humble cottage business manufacturing wan tan mee (wan tan noodle) back in 1984 by two brothers using the family special recipe and the process of manufacturing was done by using traditional home made equipment. Due to the popular demand for the supply of their wan tan noodle, a proper factory was set up in 1989 at Taman Ipoh Jaya in Ipoh. After eight years of successfu
l operation in this factory it was necessary to move to a bigger premises. After acquiring a bigger factory building in a light industrial area the whole manufacturing operation was then move to No. 20, Hala Rapat Baru 20, Kawasan Perinductrian Ringan Kinta Jaya, 31350 Ipoh in order to meet the increase demand for its wan tan noodle. In line with the Company’s expansion program, Foo Won Marketing Sdn. Bhd., was incorporated in May, 2007 and have since moved to its present larger factory premises situated at No. 17, Hala Rapat Baru 21, Kawasan Perindustrian Ringan Kinta Jaya, 31350 Ipoh. New manufacturing equipment have been installed at this factory utilizing modern technology and state o the art machinery, fully in compliance with the requirements under the Food Art 1983 and Food Regulations 1985. Foo Wan is synonymous with wan tan noodle, sar hor fun (rice noodle) and several noodle products, a reputation built over the years by Mr. The company would be undertaking a more aggressive approach in branding, advertising and promotion activities. It has also set its sight on introducing more new products in order to capture a bigger market share. Foo Won is now an established noodle brand supplying its products to various States in Malaysia.
