How to use A/C Stop Leak
A/C Stop Leak is used exactly in the same way as if you were using your normal refill canister or R134 Refrigerant Gas but with one difference. The A/C Stop Leak canister MUST be shaken well, to ensure that the lubrication oil for the compressor, the UV dye, and the Stop Leak special formula enter the system being re-gassed, and you should continue to shake the can every 5 seconds or so while it is filling. There are instructions for use on the back of the canister for customers not familiar with re-charging air-con systems or should you require further information.
If the leak is too large and the system still leaks, please use a U light to detect which component is failing – UV torches available from BiTop Auto for a small charge for existing or new customers.

1. Question: Is it compatible with my normal R134 recharge gas?
Answer: Yes, A/C Stop Leak is compatible with all R134 gas types.
2. Question: Do I need to purchase special equipment from you to use it?
Answer: No, it uses the same universal thread as ordinary R134 recharge cans and is
fully compatible with all MG sets and will not cause damage to your MGS during use.
3. Question: Will A/C Stop Leak cause damage to the “O” rings and/or gaskets?
Answer: Absolutely not. Quite the reverse as A/C Stop Leak contains a special
formula that conditions “O” rings and returns them to their original flexibility and
revitalizes gaskets – this helps both seal properly as designed.
4. Question: How does the Stop Leak thing work?
Answer: It is the same idea as blood clotting – when the Stop Leak formula comes
into contact with the high concentration of Oxygen that normal air contains, and is
under pressure, a chemical reaction takes place that builds up layer after layer of an
inert compound that seals the hole or crack permanently as it sets. If either, or both, oxygen and pressure are absent no chemical reaction takes place – Exactly like your blood!

5. Question: Do I have to flush the air con system out after using Stop Leak?
Answer: No, Stop Leak is safe to leave in the system and it will continue to lubricate and condition.
6. Question: Is there a product warranty?
Answer: Yes, please see warranty Terms & Conditions on the back of the A/C Stop Leak canister, if A/C Stop Leak fails to work in compliance with the Terms and Conditions and no leak can be detected using U light the product will be replaced and/or your money refunded.

A/C Stop Leak is a four in one Repair, Service and Diagnostic tool that has a "Stop Leak" sealant (similar in an action to blood clotting when you hurt yourself), is a compressor lubricant, an "O" ring Conditioner and has a diagnostic function as the Fluorescent Dye will show where the leak was/is under UV light.
