🔥8x8 Armoured Vehicle (Gempita) CBRN Detection System Inspection Strengthening Operational Readiness 🔥

Southern Titan Group (STG) conducted a CBRN detection system inspection on the 8x8 Gempita at the 2nd Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps, reinforcing our commitment to the operational readiness, reliability, and mission effectiveness of the Malaysian Army’s CBRN Squadron.

Our technical team performed a detailed assessment of the vehicle’s CBRN System, a system developed and integrated by Bertin Environics, a global leader trusted in 80+ countries for advanced chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection. Their technology combines orthogonal chemical sensors, miniaturised IMS, semiconductor detection, and rapid biological early‑warning capabilities, enabling high‑accuracy, real‑time situational awareness for armoured platforms like the Gempita.

This engagement also strengthened professional cooperation with the regiment’s personnel, enhancing technical knowledge exchange, operational understanding, and field‑level communication.

STG extends its sincere appreciation to the 2nd Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps officers and personnel for their strong cooperation, professionalism, and support throughout the inspection session. Southern Titan Group (STG) was honoured to conduct an official courtesy visit to KBP Andy Rifa’i, S.I.K., M.H., Commander of the KBRN Gegana Unit, at the KBRN PAS Gegana Office, Klapadua, Depok, Indonesia.

The visit was conducted to extend STG’s sincere congratulations to KBP Andy Rifa’i, S.I.K., M.H. on his appointment as Commander of the KBRN Gegana Unit. The engagement also provided an opportunity for STG to introduce and provide an overview of the upcoming NCT APAC 2026 and NCT Pro Experience in Jakarta.

🛡️ STG CONDUCTS CIED EQUIPMENT INSPECTION AT 5TH SQUADRON, ROYAL ENGINEERS REGIMENT
📍 Lok Kawi Camp, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Southern Titan Group (STG) Defence Division conducted a Counter-IED (CIED) equipment inspection with the 5th Squadron, Royal Engineers Regiment at Lok Kawi Camp, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The engagement reflects STG’s continued commitment to supporting operational readiness, equipment reliability, and effective field capabilities.

The inspection was led by Mr. Amin Nordin, Chief Executive Officer, Southern Titan Group, together with Mr. Zimam Rifky, Project Manager, Southern Titan Malaysia (Defence Division). The team reviewed the condition, functionality, and operational readiness of the CIED equipment, while gaining valuable insights into current operational requirements and field applications.

The engagement also provided a valuable platform for technical knowledge exchange and discussions on equipment sustainment, maintenance, and future operational requirements. These discussions further strengthened mutual understanding and supported continued efforts towards reliable and mission-focused CIED capabilities.
