Revillagigedo Marine Park, better known to divers as the Socorro Islands, is one of the wildest and most remote dive destinations on the planet.
Located about 240 miles off the coast of Cabo San Lucas, these volcanic islands are uninhabited and accessible only by liveaboard. Out here it is just open ocean and raw nature.
San Benedicto, Socorro, and the legendary Roca Partida are famous for heart racing pelagic encounters. Giant oceanic mantas that lock eyes with you. Curious dolphins. Silky, Galapagos and hammerhead sharks cruising through the blue.
In winter and spring you can even hear humpback whales singing underwater.
The powerful meeting point of the California and Equatorial currents fuels this ecosystem and attracts incredible marine life. It also means conditions can change quickly with surge and strong currents. But that is exactly what makes this place so alive.
And when you are diving hundreds of miles from land in the open Pacific, the Nautilus LifeLine Marine Rescue GPS is something you never want to be without.
