Azimov Team se origina en 2007 por un grupo de estudiantes de Ingeniería Mecatrónica que deciden construir robots para competir y aprender. Cada año se ha participado en eventos de diferentes categorías, dichos eventos han generado nuevas metas y pensamientos que han transformado el proyecto en algo más que en un equipo de competencia, se ha formado una comunidad y un equipo de nivel internacional que genera proyectos de robótica con experiencia que pasa de generación en generación.

🇨🇳 Robotchallenge World - China 2025

Este evento es uno de los torneos de robótica competitiva más grandes del mundo. Este año participaron 42 países y más de 5 000 competidores en diferentes categorías; fue increíble ver un evento de tal magnitud.

México hizo un excelente papel y Azimov Team pudo aportar al medallero obteniendo el primer lugar en Sumo 3kg RC.

Algo verdaderamente notable fue que tenían staff capacitado para hablar diferentes idiomas; de esta manera pueden apoyar a competidores de todas partes del mundo. Es impresionante la inversión que China está haciendo en este tipo de eventos.

🇨🇳 Robotchallenge World - China 2025

This event is one of the largest competitive robotics tournaments in the world. This year, 42 countries and more than 5,000 participants took part across different categories; it was amazing to witness an event of such scale.

Mexico performed excellently and Azimov Team contributed to the medal table by achieving first place in 3kg Sumo RC.

One truly remarkable aspect was the staff, who were trained to speak different languages; this way they could support competitors from all around the world. It is impressive to see the level of investment China is making in this kind of event.

🇲🇾 IRC IIUM Robotics Competition – Malaysia 2025

Este es un evento internacional con múltiples categorías de robótica. En esta ocasión, el equipo obtuvo el primer lugar en Sumo Autónomo.

Las peleas estuvieron muy reñidas y el nivel de competencia es bastante alto. Muchas gracias a los organizadores y a todos los participantes por esta experiencia.

También hubo participación en MiniSumo, donde los pilotos más jóvenes del equipo hicieron su debut en una competencia internacional.

This is an international event featuring multiple robotics categories. This time, the team achieved first place in Autonomous Sumo.

The matches were very close, and the level of competition was truly high. Many thanks to the organizers and all participants for this experience.

We also competed in MiniSumo, where the youngest pilots of the team made their debut in an international competition.

🇲🇾 PIRC Perak International Robot Competition – Malaysia 2025

El equipo tuvo la oportunidad de participar en el PIRC, la competencia exclusiva de robot sumo más grande del sureste asiático, logrando quedar campeones en la categoría RC. La energía del evento y la calidez de la gente fueron realmente maravillosas.

Queremos felicitar sinceramente a los organizadores por un evento impecable de tal magnitud; toda la logística estuvo excelente.

🇲🇾 PIRC Perak International Robot Competition – Malaysia 2025

The team had the opportunity to participate in PIRC, the largest exclusive sumo robot competition in Southeast Asia, achieving the title of champions in the RC category. The energy of the event and the warmth of everyone involved were truly amazing.

We sincerely congratulate the organizers for an outstanding event of such magnitude; the logistics and coordination were excellent.

🇯🇵 Torneo Regional de Kanto

En octubre del año pasado, Azimov Team tuvo su primera participación en un torneo regional de Japón, realizado en la Tokyo Polytechnic University.

Estos torneos, organizados en distintas regiones de Japón, son donde los competidores locales obtienen su certificación para el All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament, el mundial de robótica más importante de esta categoría.

La logística y dinámica del evento es muy similar a la del mundial, y el nivel de competencia es impresionante: cada robot tiene el potencial de ganar. En este tipo de torneos, la experiencia y la suerte juegan un papel crucial.

Fue una experiencia muy grata, además de que pudimos reunirnos con nuestros amigos y maestros, los integrantes de チームうどん - Team udon y Yoshifumi Ma.

🇯🇵 Kanto Regional Tournament

Last October, Azimov Team participated for the first time in a regional tournament in Japan, held at Tokyo Polytechnic University.

These tournaments, organized across different regions of Japan, are where local competitors earn their certification to participate in the All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament, the world’s most prestigious event in this category.

The event’s logistics and dynamics are very similar to the world championship, and the competition level is remarkable — every robot has the potential to win. In these tournaments, experience and luck play a crucial role.

It was a very pleasant experience, and we also had the chance to reunite with our friends and mentors, the members of チームうどん - Team udon y Yoshifumi Ma

Maker Robotics Competition

Así se vivió el MRC, donde Azimov Team quedó campeón en Sumo RC y Sumo Autónomo 🏆🤖
Todo el equipo estaba nervioso, ya que estuvimos probando diferentes funcionalidades y nuevos robots durante la competencia.

Queremos agradecer mucho a nuestro amigo Phuwasit Eiamsouyngam, organizador del evento, por invitarnos a tan emocionante competencia en Tailandia.

En los próximos días compartiremos más sobre las aventuras del equipo.

This is how we experienced the MRC, where Azimov Team became champions in RC Sumo and Autonomous Sumo 🏆🤖
The whole team was nervous as we were testing different functionalities and new robots during the competition.

We want to thank our friend Phuwasit Eiamsouyngam, the organizer of the event, for inviting us to such an exciting competition in Thailand.
