🔴🔵 WE ARE HIRING – INVENTORY & ERP CONTROLLER

Bearing Centre Limited is looking for an experienced Inventory & ERP Controller to join our team in Blantyre.

We are looking for someone with strong inventory-control, computer and analytical skills — not simply someone with storekeeping experience.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

* Conduct PPI/perpetual and cycle stock counts
* Reconcile physical stock against ERP/system quantities
* Investigate stock variances and identify the root cause
* Monitor stock receipts, issues and branch transfers
* Assist with replenishment, reorder levels and stock planning
* Identify slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock
* Maintain accurate inventory records and reports
* Experience using an ERP or computerized inventory system
* Strong Microsoft Office & Excel skills
* Able to analyse stock data and prepare reports
* Accurate, organized, honest, reliable and responsible
* Able to work independently and as part of a team

💻 K8 experience is NOT required. Experience with another ERP/inventory system is acceptable, and training on K8 will be provided.

📍 Location: Blantyre, Malawi
🕗 Working Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

💰 Salary: Based on skills, experience and practical ability.

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical inventory and Excel assessment.

🔧 VACANCY – EXPERIENCED LATHE MACHINIST | BLANTYRE

Bearing Centre is looking for an experienced and skilled Lathe Machinist to join our Precision Engineering Workshop in Blantyre.

We are not only looking for someone who is technically competent. We want a person who is honest, reliable, respectful, humble, hardworking and easy to work with—someone who takes pride in their work, supports their colleagues and takes responsibility for the quality of every job they complete.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience on conventional/manual lathes, preferably in an engineering, maintenance or machine-repair workshop.

You should be able to set up and complete jobs independently, including precision turning, facing, boring, internal and external threading, taper turning, machining shafts, bearing seats, bushes, sleeves, pulleys and repairing worn industrial components.

You should also be comfortable working from drawings, sketches or samples, taking accurate measurements and using micrometers, vernier calipers and other precision measuring instruments.

⚙️ A practical machining test will be conducted before employment.

ONLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES SHOULD APPLY.
