Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient sales engineer with a background in the M&E field, especially electrical engineering, to join our team. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving sales and providing technical support to our customers. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the benefits of our services and solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Sales:
- Understand customer needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.
- Present and demonstrate the technical features and benefits of our products to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and proposals.
- Conduct product presentations and technical training for customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely technical support.
- Conduct site visits and meetings to better understand customer needs and challenges.
Sales Process Management:
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Track and report on sales activities and progress.
Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and product enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. ( Freshers are also welcome. )
- Proven experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the electrical or related industry.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex electrical concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- It is better if you know AutoCAD, Revit, or both.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with frequent travel to customer sites.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or attend customer meetings.
