RKB on-site technical support in Oman 🇴🇲
We recently completed the installation of RKB bearings in the rolling mill stand at a steel plant in Oman. RKB MENA, our Middle East and North Africa branch, provided technical support and hands-on training for the plant’s maintenance staff.
The bearings installed were multi row cylindrical roller bearings and double row angular contact ball bearings.
In line with RKB’s commitment to long-term value, an on-site training session was held for the customer's technicians, focusing on best practices for bearing mounting, handling, and lubrication.

RKB bearings for gearboxes in the sugar industry 🇧🇪
Ateliers Sauvage, based in Verviers, Belgium, specialises in overhauling reducers, pumps, and crushers for the mining, sugar, steel, and energy sectors.
They selected RKB bearings for a Jahnel-Kestermann parallel axis reducer, which is installed in a Babbini sugar press at an Italian sugar refinery. Six different bearing part numbers are mounted in the unit.
Founded in 1962 by Pol Sauvage and now led by his son Marc, the company blends tradition with advanced technology, offering services from precision cutting to complex machining for parts up to 4,000 mm. Their expertise ensures high-quality solutions for both national and international clients.

RKB bearings for the gearboxes of sluice gates 🇧🇪
Since 2008, RKB has collaborated with a leading Belgian company on projects across the defense, energy, power transmission, mining, and steel sectors.
They are currently involved in the renovation of key inland waterway infrastructure, with RKB bearings installed in the gearboxes that operate the sluice gates of locks. This project facilitates the transit of vessels exceeding 1,000 tons by addressing significant elevation differences along the route.
RKB is supplying all the bearings for a reducer originally manufactured by La Brugeoise et Nivelles.

RKB bearings for Flender bevel-helical gearboxes 🇩🇿
After technical training with RKB, a cement plant in Algeria urgently requested maintenance for a Flender bevel-helical gearbox.
This heavy-duty unit, designed for high power and torque applications, offers high strength, reliability, and efficiency.
RKB supplied all necessary bearings for the maintenance. The plant’s technicians are interested in further collaboration with RKB for machine maintenance and personnel training.
The Algerian customer has an annual production capacity of over 2 million tons and operates Polysius vertical mills.
