Join JBUAS Sensors Open Days 2026.
On 7–8 July 2026, our UK partner JBUAS will host a two-day field event focused on drone-based sensor workflows — from mission planning and payload setup to software integration, data collection, and processing.

SPH Engineering will be part of the programme, covering UgCS Mission Planner, SPH Integrated Systems, SkyHub, True Terrain Following, OSDK Assembly, and integrated sensor workflows.

The event will also include OEM presentations, Q&A sessions, and live sensor demonstrations with DJI M350RTK and M400, covering GPR, magnetometry, methane mapping, gamma-ray mapping, echosounders, and more.

6.0 is out.
Join us for a free live demo on Zoom. June 16!

If you've ever split a large survey across several flights, you know the pain: separate projects, line spacing that doesn't match at the boundaries, manual work to keep validation lines and old campaigns aligned. 6.0 handles all of it in one project.

What we'll demo on screen:

• Large Area Splitting. One polygon becomes flyable sub-areas, with line spacing consistent across every boundary.

• Tie lines as a project parameter. Set the frequency once, lines drop in across the whole survey.

• Shift Right. Align a new grid to a historical campaign in a few clicks.

• Smart AGL 2.0. Terrain following that now checks safe distance to the sides of the drone, not just below and ahead.

Then real field deployments and an open Q&A on licensing and getting started.

Tuesday, June 16. 7 PM Riga / 12 PM New York / 9 AM LA. Free, 60 minutes, live in UgCS.

UgCS 6.0 is the biggest update we've shipped in years, built for one job: planning drone magnetic surveys at large scale.

Draw one polygon. UgCS splits it into flyable sub-areas and keeps survey line spacing consistent across every boundary. The whole survey stays in one project, no matter how many flights it takes to cover.

Large Projects are available in UgCS Expert and Enterprise. Test it free in UgCS Open.

6.0 Out Now!
It’s our biggest update in years. Large Area Splitting brings drone magnetic surveys to a scale of several dozen km² into one project.

- Split one large polygon into flyable sub-areas with consistent survey line spacing
- Tie lines built in, at any interval
- Shift Right matches your flight lines to historical surveys
- Assign a take-off point to each sub-area
- Flight time per sub-area, previewed before mobilization
- Smart AGL 2.0 now checks safe distance to the sides of the drone, not just below and ahead

Built for minerals exploration, oil and gas, geological mapping, and UXO survey teams.

Available now in UgCS Expert and Enterprise. Test for free in UgCS Open.

That's a wrap on Demo Day in .

Drones in the air—sensors in hand. People from every continent on the field are asking the good questions, the hard questions, and the "wait, can it really do that?" questions.

No slides. No theory. Just the gear, the missions, and the conversations that only happen when you're standing next to a flying drone.
Thank you to everyone who made the trip. You turned a field in Latvia into the most interesting place in the industry during that week 🔥

Roll the tape.

Italy had this landslide filed as dormant. A drone flying 1m over the grass disagreed.

57° slope above Melizzano. Grass 60-70cm. Too steep and too overgrown to walk GPR across.

So INGV flew it. UAV-mounted GPR, antenna held at 1 meter AGL the whole way by Enterprise + True Terrain Following the altimeter through .

Result: a continuous reflector at ~10m depth across the whole transect. The sliding surface. Borehole-validated to within 2m.

On a slope that steep with grass that uneven, fixed-altitude flight drifts the antenna between 0.5 and 2m and your depth numbers fall apart. Hold it steady, and the radargram holds up

First peer-reviewed UAV-GPR validation past 10m depth. National hazard inventories are only as good as the methods that built them.

INGV surveyed a 57° vegetated slope in Melizzano, Italy with UAV-GPR and LiDAR via UgCS. True Terrain Following held 1 m AGL. Sliding surface confirmed at 10 m depth.
